What would happen if the body Cheng Xiaoshi is possessing were to die?

title. So yeah, do we know what would happen if the body he was in were to die with him still possessing it? Would he just get sucked out or would he also die or experience some sort of side effect?

Also, side note that's kind of related: If he were to go back in time and possess himself, then somehow get himself killed, what then? That would it also cause another time travel paradox like in a lot of time travel content right
