The 90’s girly colorful tech aesthetic remains strong in me. I’m about to start my bachelor’s program and this felt like an appropriate work horse for this degree & my masters in the future. I almost went with green as it’s my true favorite color but this just felt oh so right. 🩷
I am in my third year of fountain pen obsession, and I have decided to transition myself away from rollerballs and gel pens for note-taking.
I love using them for planner spreads and post-it notes, but I find myself picking up a fountain pen when I am studying lately.
What is the best fountain pen and paper set up you find for taking notes?

I’ve tried a few combinations for journaling but don’t enjoy how small journals can be. I like the size of a traditional American spiral notebook, graph paper, and fountain pen friendly of course please ❤️🔥🙏🏽
I recently made the choice to cut back on a lot of planned travel to attend conferences and various events because I can’t afford it. I can barely afford the gas to volunteer where I’ve been getting library/archive experience. I’m still in school, work full time, and it’s critical for me to do this networking and make connections for the future. I can’t do much unpaid as it is and the fuel prices are making it so much worse.
So my question is, how are you all affording to go? The ALA meeting at the end of June in Chicago is over $400 for a one day ticket. Yearly membership for so many of these organizations (ALA, SAA, ARLIS…) are already so expensive. I’ve already cancelled my plans to attend MAC.
