Ive played this game off and on for a while, and I must say I get ever so irked whenever I hit something with no energy left and suddenly I have to wait for my character to finish yawning and BLINKING
Is there a way to turn this off?? If not then lord I hope so soon.
Even worse is with all the lag, it takes an actual 30 seconds sometimes for the yawning to stop.
I need to patch up the holes in the couch!
I have no other way to describe how this month has absolutely done it for me in terms of the cruelest forms of idiocy.
Ive worked in grocery since COVID, ive thought ive experienced the pinnacle of stupid, yet this week alone has topped any previous experiences.
For some context, My store had the digital item tags say the Country of Origin for all the items for atleast 3 or so years, especially in Produce.
At the beginning of August, we were told to remove any tag that mentioned country, no buts about it, no explanation either.
Now, no one knows how to read the label of a product, it can have a big ass American flag, Canadian leaf or a fuckin Irish leprechaun and they'd still ask what's the country.
On the 4th, some lady asked about our pears, if they were American or not. I said they were from Argentina and showed the sticker, she asked where that was and I said "South America" she, with a straight face, asked "oh, so like the States? So they are American then?"
No, no you marinated grape, its took me 20 minutes to explain before she got it then decided "its not Canadian, I dont want it". Atleast my manager had a good laugh about it, but still.
On the 7th, a guy asked if our "California King strawberries" were Canadian. I asked if he was serious, and to say the name outloud again, but slowly. He got pissed at me for "mocking an innocent old man" and demanded the manager.
Today, the 10th, I was putting out Cherries, 2lb containers, some old ass demanded "are these from the US?!" I said no, they're Canadian. He said "cant be too sure nowadays, how do you know the box aint lying?!" I said "the container is a Canadian brand, also is covered in maple leaves and said "Canadian product" so im gonna assume its Canadian"
Got pissed at me for being a smart mouth and told me "not everyone can read so well, how was I supposed to know?! It doesn't say it on the sign anymore!" And walked away. Didn't even take the Cherries.
These are just the most memorable of the month, but genuinely no one can read product labels anymore.
They refuse to look at the bags of salads, or the stickers on lemons.
Sure, I can very quickly excuse for items that dont have labels like celery or potatoes, if you can't read English well, or read the font cause its too small, yeah I get that. But the rest? Go back to school.
Im paid minimal wage, half the time im stuck babysitting someone's abandoned child, and now I feel like im taking care of grown ass adults, im tired of this.
Its not that hard to read, it really isn't, but god is this making me lose faith in the future of the world.
No idea how old they are, the sticker on the toat was soaked from all the rotten juices so we could read it. So thankful the box is hard plastic.

Had to vacate cause our sewer line collapsed and the ground was unstable.
Sour cream expired June 1st, decided "why not?" And left it on the counter since it didnt look too bad (had a few black specs but nothing overtly noticeable)
Left it there June 14th, came back on the 30th!
Twas a fun experiment but had to toss cause the smell punched my throat and my dad could smell it down the hall
