Feeling a bit lost...Need advice

I'm honestly feeling pretty lost right now and could use some advice.

I scored around 90% in my boards and have been applying for BSc Psychology programs. I got rejected from Christ University, which hit me harder than I expected because it was one of my dream colleges.

Right now, I do have an allotment from one college and I'm on the waiting list for a few others, but the whole admissions process has been much more uncertain than I imagined. Most of my friends have already secured admissions, while I'm still checking rank lists, waitlists, and application deadlines.

I'm trying to stay hopeful, but it's difficult not to compare myself to others or feel like I'm falling behind.

Are there any good colleges in South India (especially Kerala, Karnataka, or Tamil Nadu) that are still accepting applications for BSc Psychology or related psychology programs?

I'd also appreciate hearing from anyone who got rejected from their first-choice college but ended up somewhere they genuinely liked. Right now I'm trying to figure out my next steps and could use some perspective.

What did you wish to become when you were younger?

When I was younger, I wanted to become a person who sells icecream (that way I could eat one whenever I wished to).

I miss the younger me, who had a very positive outlook towards life and had a pleasant personality.

What abt you guys? Do you miss any parts of your younger self? Or are you happy with who you turned out to be?

Is Kristu Jayanti University, Banglore a good uni for Bsc Psychology?

Hey everyone,

I’m considering Kristu Jayanti University, Bangalore for BSc Psychology and wanted honest opinions from people who’ve studied there or know about it.

For context, I scored 90% in my boards with 93 in Psychology and I’m also actively involved in NCC. I recently got rejected from Christ University, and while I do have strong chances of getting into colleges in Kerala, I’m honestly not very keen on studying there.

Looking for BSc Psychology college recommendations in South India!

I'm planning to pursue a BSc in Psychology and am currently exploring colleges across South India, preferably in Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, or Kerala.

I scored 90% overall in CBSE Class 12 and 94% in Psychology. I've already applied to Rajagiri College of Social Sciences (RCSS) and Christ University, Bengaluru, but unfortunately I wasn't selected for Christ.

I'm looking for colleges with:
• Strong Psychology department and faculty
• Good academic environment
• Research, internship, and practical exposure opportunities
• Decent campus life and student support
• Opportunities for higher studies in Psychology

I'd love to hear honest experiences from current students, alumni, or anyone familiar with psychology programs in South India.

Which colleges would you recommend? Are there any colleges I should particularly consider or avoid?
