What’s life like in your 50’s

Im on my mid 40’s na and mabilis lang panahon. Honestly life has been a struggle (kids, being single parent, failed romantic relationships) but trying to keep myself positive. I wonder if life gets better when you’re 50 (raising kids, romantic relationships) and do you think you’re ready as you’re getting closer to retirement? Honestly i still haven’t figured out my retirement plan. Only asking if anyone out there have been in my shoes and went through the same.

My career has always revolved around the Operations side of the business. Late last year I realized na Im not learning anything new. With a mix of luck and my credentials na rin, this company offered me a job that aligns with my career aspirations. Never would I imagine that I’ll be able to make that switch from Operations to Tech and Enterprise. Im scared of this new chapter but I know in my gut that ill be ok

Hi, Im on my mid 40’s na and year on year i feel na mas nagiging “vain” na ako sa sarili. I dont splurge on expensive clothes, bags and jewelries. Sa pagpapaganda and other wellness most of the time yung mga big purchases ko. Kayo ba? San napupunta pera nyo? Baka may need pa pala ako oag gastusan lol 😅

Face & Neck

  1. Eyebrow Microblading
  2. Thread skin lift - medyo mahal pero zero regrets! Very subtle sha and nagreduce jowls ko. Will do this again on my 50’s
  3. Serum, Eye cream, Neck cream
  4. Eye lash extensions - very rare pag may special occasion lang

Body

  1. Light gym exercises and walking. Prefer ko magwalk sa labas rather than treadmill. Hilig ko rin magpulot ng kalat pag may nakikita ako while walking
  2. Biotin, Collagen supplements
  3. Underarm laser hair removal- zero regrets! I no longer need to visit waxing salon
  4. Sunscreen, sunscreen, sunscreen dahil mahilig ako maglakad sa labas

Hair

  1. Minoxidil - 3x/week, every other month
  2. Hair treatments sa salon

Mind

  1. Psych therapy once or twice a month
  2. Self help books
  3. I attend workshops and summit pag nakita kong interesting
  4. Local trips or abroad. Hindi ito frequent pero sobrang matipid ako dito as much as possible. May time pa na nag stay ako sa hostel for short stays.

Im still thinking of doing eye lasik pero bottom priority ko to
