Been listening to this Suduaya set all day. It is exceptional. Deep, melodic, beautiful. Dive in my friends :)
Hello my friends, coming back with another update on the live hardware improvisation journey.
Since the last post a few months ago, I've updated the rig by adding a new modular synth (the Make Noise 0Coast) to it to really expand my sonic capabilities/ I also rearranged the entire structure of the rig to better fit my style of playing.
This is all from learning what worked and what didn't worked after playing a bunch of shows in May and June.
I truly feel very connected to this machine now and has allowed me to explore and blend goa trance, psytechno, darkpsy, and trance techno as I'm performing live which has been my goal since I started trying to play like this.
It's taken years to get to this point but I'm really proud how far I've come.
Some cool news: I've been added on the lineup to play Ommix's Equinox Festival happening here in Texas on September 4-6. Some other artist on the lineup are Tristan, Sonic Species, Spectrasonics, Menog, Dribble, Skyfall.
It's so cool to see great artists come out and bring psy music to the US. I hope to meet some of you there 💙
Finally, I will releasing some new music this year (this song is part of 15 minute EP that I recorded this week) and have some more live/improvised sets planned. More to be announced soon.
Peace,
Spiralmynd / Alan

Hello friends, May was a crazy month playing 4 shows in 4 weeks around Texas. Most of them were psytrance so after taking a few weeks break, I decided to start fresh with new sounds, samples and patches and to focus more on slowing down and playing around 127-140 bpm (instead of 150-180 as I was playing mostly before).
I've also been doing a lot of deep research into improving my mix quality as I am improvising live and getting a more clean, polished sound.
I'm really happy how its turned out so far. Cheers 🙏🏼
I love Inferno and after a few listens, its become one of my favorite BOC albums. However, after initially listening to it, I felt something was missing. Not from the music itself but something felt off.
I now just realized it was the visuals that accompanied the songs that I fell in love with as a kid on YouTube. Videos that were created by the fans!
It's really cool to start to see new fan created music videos come out.
We will look back in distant future at these videos the same way we look at that classic roygbiv video that came out 19 years ago (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yT0gRc2c2wQ).
Hello my friends, coming back with another update on the live hardware improvisation journey :::
Since the last post I've gone deeper into making the rig feel more like an instrument rather than a collection of boxes. I tightened up MIDI sync across everything, added a few new Ableton device's like Outerverse's WTFX and Hypnus's Spellbook which has expanded my creative palette quite a bit, built patches I can mutate on the fly, and got more intentional about which knobs need to be available for morphing the sound and for transitioning between sections.
Would love to hear from anyone else playing live and how they structure their sets.

Practicing for some upcoming psy gatherings around Texas this month. I’ve been trying to incorporate more melodic elements into my mixes to create a balance between light and dark
