Should I buy a setup?

So I've always liked the idea of racing games but every time I end up buying one i never end up having that much fun with it.

I've considered that maybe it's just because I've always played them with a controller as opposed to a wheel and pedals. I'm a bit worried about buying a cheap set for a couple hundred dollars and still not really being in to it.

I like cars and there was a few weeks where I did enjoy playing Forza but that died out.

Just curious if anyone else was in the same boat of not particularly enjoying racing games but wanting to get a cheap setup and see if it makes it more enjoyable.

Thanks for the advice.

Been a week now since I've been able to login to the game. I can get in on my phone's hotspot but the connection is unplayable.

Pred support wasn't any help.

Reinstalled the game. Tried sitting at the screen for 10-15 minutes and retrying. Turned off my firewall. Reset the router. Restarted the PS5. Tried wifi instead of wired. Nothing works. I must've tried logging in 500 times at this point and still the same PRS-8 error.

Has anyone figured anything out with it? Potential fixes on PS5?

I decided on getting a 4th Gen legacy. Specifically the 05 WR-Limited 2.0GT. It is not the spec B.

When looking online I get seemingly mixed results where some places will say only the spec B has the rear LSD but then others will say the 04-05 GTs have them. Mines a JDM one if it makes any difference.

Not a big deal to me as I don't track cars but would be nice to know for when I go snowboarding.

Thanks.

Been 2 days now where I can't login because of this error. Thought yesterday maybe there was maintenance but still getting the message today.

Already reinstalled and that didn't help.

In Japan and after much looking around I've decided pretty surely on getting a legacy.

Obviously the appeal of the RSK is that it's much faster than the RS30.

My main concern is as you can probably guess the sequential turbo setup. I've seen some stuff online saying it can be a nightmare to work on if you start having vacuum or turbo issues.

I don't plan on modifying the car at all just looking for a fast daily that I can take snowboarding.

Thanks for the help.
