🌸 Omegaverse with a male omega and no MM 🌸

Yes, they do exist! 😊 I will try to keep this list updated with new releases that fit but I'm not a huge omegaverse reader, so help is appreciated! If you come across a book that belongs here, please leave a comment and let me know so I can add it 🫶

{Slick by Roxy Collins}
MFMMM/OOAAB.
Standalone. FMC has her memories erased and is kinda imprisoned at a facility where they collect her slick.

{Knot Her Alpha by L.L. Frost}
MFMM/OAAB.
FMC was cast aside by her ex. She meets her harem individually and begins to learn how to trust and love again. Slow burn, forced proximity, found family.

{Pack Larsen by JJ Dean}
MFMMMM/OOAAAB.
FMC escapes her rich, controlling parents to live her own life. She meets the MMCs and they think she's just a spoiled rich girl and hate her.

{Anarchy by Olivia Lewin and Marie Mackay} MFMMM/OOAAA.
FMC is raised in a cult. As a punishment for making a mistake, she gets sent to a prison specifically housing feral alphas.

{Deadlier Than The Males by Teresa Hann}
MFMM/OAOO.
Wolf shifters + omegaverse. FMC is exiled from her pack. When her brother dies unexpectedly, she is forced to return home and inherit leadership of the pack.

‼️ Note: This book seems to have been unpublished 😭 I chose to keep the book listed in case the authors decide to republish the book in the future. It shall not be forgotten! (And if any of the authors stumble upon this, please give us back the book! I'm dying to read this 🙇‍♀️)

{Forbidden Alpha by SK Prince, Laurel Night and Ginna Moran}
MFMM/OAAA.
Standalone. FMC presents as a rare female Alpha and gets sent off to a reformatory school. The male omega is the FMC's professor!

Authors in reader spaces.

Author Grace McGinty decided to make a brand new account and make her first comment a reply to a thread here on r/WhyChooseNoMM where readers are appreciating a reviewer for tagging content the author personally chooses not tag. The reviewer also rated their book 1 star because the book wasn't tagged. Link to comment.

What in the condescending, passive-aggressive sarcasm was that comment? What author thinks it's a good idea to join a reader space and leave a comment with such an attitude? 😬 Calling the thread an "unfortunate thing to find" feels a little ironic when the author made a brand new account and chose that discussion as her very first to join. Given the tone of her reply, it's hard to read it as anything other than a deliberate choice to jump in and defend herself rather than simply letting readers have their opinions in a reader space.

I wasn't going to join in on the whole Goodreads drama thing, I very much prefer to just focus on books, but the author left such a bad impression I'm adding my two cents anyway; Goodreads is not a website for objective opinions and professional literary reviews. Readers can one star a book for any reason, just like readers can five star a book for any reason; the cover, the writing, the story, the tropes, the author's political views; literally any reason. That is why some users will five star a why choose for being an absolute sausage fest where the boyfriends are all boyfriends, while others will one star it. AND THAT IS OKAY. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

I've seen quite a few people comment "Well, I wouldn't rate X based on Y..." and that's great! You don't have to! But you don't speak for everyone else, so while you may not rate X because of Y, others may. And that's also okay. That's the whole point of Goodreads. Reviews on Goodreads are personal opinions written for the reader themselves. They can act as feedback to help other readers decide if a book is worth picking up or not but at the end of the day, a Goodreads review is the reader's personal opinion and their space to express it. Readers don't owe an author positive reviews, nor do readers have to tailor their opinion to what others want to hear or what the author feels is fair. It's why you'll find five star reviews you completely disagree with and one star reviews that make you pick up the book. That. Is. Okay.

Some users rate every book they read five stars regardless of whether they liked it or not. Some have their own rating system, tagging system, shelfing system and that's all valid. Everyone is free to use Goodreads however they want. Those are my two cents.

So when I see an author joining a reader space, giving instructions on how to rate their book, leaving sarcastic passive-aggressive comments and seemingly crashing out... I make sure their books are off my TBR.

Completely unrelated to the author, I added a few pictures of amusing one star ratings I found after doing a quick google search. Enjoy.

(Slightly unhinged but good?) What the heck did I just read? 💀💀💀

I just finished {Baby's First Howl by Letty Frame} and I'm trying to process this book. What the heck did I just read? It was pretty unhinged and... refreshing? 😆

The basics:

  • Unfinished(!) duet(?)
  • Single mom FMC
  • Wolf shifter MMCs
  • Virgin MMCs (all of them!)
  • Lots of praise
  • Lots of insults 😅
  • Cliffhanger

No, seriously, one thing I appreciated about this book is that one of the MMCs, Ben, says the most out-of-pocket shit ever. The mate bond does NOT change him; he will insult the FMC even after they're mates 😭 Normally, I'd be like "Wtf, what do you see in this idiot?" But that's just the way he is and I can appreciate a consistent character who doesn't magically change his personality just because there's a mate bond.

There's just so much going on while at the same time it's very slow. I can see how some people might think the book should've been shorter but I love slow, mundane life. This is my jam. Here's some more stuff about the book:

  • Feeding baby. A lot of latching 💀
  • Everyone is a goddamn twin or triplet or more lmao
  • So. Many. Names. It's not just the MMCs but their wolves each have their own names and personalities.
  • Again, insults. Ben insults the FMC and the MMCs insult each other 😆

I don't know, I just enjoyed the book in all of its unhinged glory 🤷‍♀️

  • Forced proximity

Immune by J.J. Dean

A 913 page standalone zombie apocalypse omegaverse with a gorgeous cover? Hello?? 😍

I'm currently 33% through {Immune by J.J. Dean} and so far I'm liking it. This is not an author I'm previously familiar with. It's an MFMMM zombie apocalypse omegaverse, which is definitely a breath of fresh air. There's a lot of banter, which I enjoy.

The author does lay the jokes on pretty heavily and sometimes it can be a bit hit or miss. Some of the writing feels clunky with certain words, phrases or themes being repeated multiple times but I'm just pushing through those bits because I really enjoy the story so far.

What carries this book, in my opinion, are the characters and the relationship building. It's so refreshing when there's no out of control insta lust or insta hard-ons from first eye contact. There's suspicion, distrust and curiosity. The author allows the characters to slowly get to know each other and build trust, which I LOVE, LOVE, LOVEEEEEE²!!!

Anyone else reading this? What are your thoughts? 😊

Singed series by Mia Knight

Unhinged, obsessive, emotionally detached MMC? Heck yeah!

Dark second chance romance ‼️ Unfinished series ‼️ Cliffhanger ‼️ Toxic relationship ‼️ Dub/noncon ‼️

Jasmine and Roth have been my Roman Empire ever since I binged book 1-3 😭 First book is {Bitter Heat by Mia Knight} and I need to rave but I barely know where to begin?! Warning: Very mild spoilers ahead.

Our FMC, Jasmine Hennessy. Heir to Hennessy & Co. She's not a sad rich girl who's all "Oh no, look at my terrible life in my castle and unlimited money, woe is me" type we sometimes seem to get with rich FMCs. Jasmine knows she was born and bred for the heiress life and she owns it, even though she is dealing with her own insecurities and flaws. She's hyper independent and struggles to ask for help. She loves her family even though they're all assholes. Her relationship with her brother-in-law Lyle (please don't let this age badly, lol) is really sweet. Heck, the more we find out about her family (even her father) the more we realize there are so many layers to these characters.

Our MMC, James Roth. Unable to voice feelings 🤝 acts of service as a love language. Unhinged, obsessive, manipulative, jealous, emotionally detached (sociopath?) MMC. Basicly everything we love because it's fiction and not real life 😂 Not a people person, soft only for her. Roth has many flaws but looking at other women certainly isn't one of them. Jasmine nicknames this dude Jamie, which is such a sweet nickname for such a crazy asshole, and guess what? He loves it. He absolutely melts for her whenever she calls him Jamie throughout the books. While he does crazy shit, fucks up, fucks up², and struggles with dealing with his feelings, he also tries. He really does try, in his own way.

Aside from the second-chance aspect, which I love, I also just love their dynamic. They fit each other SO WELL. Yes, there's lust, but their relationship is also built on two people giving each other what they need outside of the lust. Roth needed somebody to see him, to give him a chance, to love him for who he is. Jasmine needed somebody to see her, somebody who wasn't intimidated by her or who wanted her only for her family name.

Their relationship is a cycle of one step forward, two steps back. Some wounds never seem to heal, some wounds get reopened and rehashed over and over. They fit so well while they also clash so often. Forces try to keep them apart, including themselves. It's angsty. It's toxic. Yet you can't help but root for them. I love it 🥹

Is Forbidden Alpha available anywhere or was it unpublished?

I stumbled upon {Forbidden Alpha by SK Reign, Laurel Night and Ginna Moran} in a tiktok and it sounded so good?! It was described as a MFMM omegaverse with an alpha FMC (student), a male omega (professor), no MM, supportive female side character and the story is set in a reformatory/academy setting. I RAN to my Kindle but I can't find it? 🥺 Is it available on another ebook platform? Does anyone know anything about this book or heard anything from the authors about this book?

Omegaverse with in-depth nesting?

I think this has been requested before? I still decided to make a new thread in case there's been any new releases with this theme, seeing how authors are pumping out omegaverses 😆

I'm looking for omegaverses with a bit more in-depth nesting. Not just "She added a few blankets and shirts and moved some pillows around to make it right" and that's it. I'd like an omegaverse where building a nest is actually a significant event that happens on-page for more than a few sentences. I'd also love scenes with the FMC and MMCs in the nest. It doesn't have to be spicy scenes, it can be them just relaxing, getting to know each other or bonding/building their relationship 😊

Please no books with MM, thank you!
