Would this song be considered goth or goth-adjacent? And why or why not?

Would this song be considered goth or goth-adjacent? And why or why not?

Just to give context: this song is "High Society" by Madonna, which was recorded back in 1981 before she became massively popular. And although she is now regarded as 'the Queen of Pop' and is mainly known for mainstream pop/dance music, Madonna used to be part of New York City's first wave punk scene, and she was also a member of the post-punk band, 'The Breakfast Club.'

So would this song be considered goth or, at the very least, adjacent to/influenced by goth? Or is it more new wave or post-punk or just simply punk (the song has very strong political commentary on wealth inequality and alienation)?

Can anyone help me filter my goth playlist?

I'm so sorry if this takes too much of anyone's time. But if any of you have the time and are in the mood to do so, can you help me with filtering my goth playlist:

ARTIST - SONG

The Glove - Punish Me With Kisses
THIS ETERNAL WAITING -The Prize
Buzz Kull - Last in the Club
The Chameleons - Up the Down Escalator
The Damned - Alone Again Or
The Glove - This Green City
Clan of Xymox - No Words
Lords of the New Church - Dance With Me
Lowlife - Wild Swan
Lowlife - Hollow Gut
The Essence- The Cat
Wire - Ahead
The Essence - Drifting
Drab Majesty - Too Soon to Tell
The Essence - Only For You
Trisomie 21 - The Last Song
The Ocean Blue - Between Something and Nothing
Book of Love - I Touch Roses
The Wild Swans - Bible Dreams
The Jesus and Mary Chain - Head On
Killing Joke - Adorations
Psyche - Misery

So which songs should I remove? Which should remain? And, if it's okay, do you all have any song recommendations that I should add to the playlist? I'm very new to the goth culture and community. I actually don't even know if I have the right to call myself, 'goth,' 'cause I merely happen to enjoy a lot of songs that I just found out are 'goth' (or atleast, I think so; but I'm not 100% sure if they are goth, that's why I'm asking this), I don't know the right bands to listen to, and I don't normally wear black clothes and dark makeup (I just really do enjoy the songs, though). So to anyone who could help me out with my playlist, I'd greatly appreciate it!
