I make quilling earrings but I'm getting almost no views or sales — what am I doing wrong?

Hi everyone! I make handmade quilling jewellery, especially jhumka-style earrings. I’ve been trying to post my work on Instagram and YouTube, but I’m barely getting views on my quilling-related content and I haven’t been able to get any buyers either.

I’ve made quite a few different designs (photos attached), but I’m honestly confused about what I’m doing wrong.

My main questions are:

• Do my designs look sellable or do they need improvement?

• Is my photography/presentation the problem?

• What kind of quilling content actually works for getting views?

• Should I focus more on making-process videos rather than simply showing the finished earrings?

• How do small handmade jewellery accounts get their first few customers?

I’d really appreciate honest criticism/advice, even if something about the designs or presentation needs to change. I’m trying to actually sell these rather than just make them for myself. 😭

Should I withdraw my addmission from amity patna and prepare for cuet 2027

(So little context)

Hi everyone, I need some genuine advice because I’m really confused about what I should do.

I passed Class 12 in 2025 with around 59%. After that, I had a difficult period personally and academically, so I couldn’t perform well in CUET 2025. I joined a local college near my hometown for BA English, but I’ve never really felt satisfied with the college or the overall environment there.

This year I decided to look for better options. I didn’t appear for CUET 2026, so my options were already limited. I considered colleges in Delhi/NCR, but the fees + living/PG expenses were too high for my family.

Eventually, I took admission in Amity University Patna for BJMC. I have already paid around 75k

But now I’m extremely confused because after reading Reddit discussions about Amity, especially Amity Patna, I’m seeing a LOT of negative opinions about placements, ROI, student crowd, etc. It has honestly made me question my decision.

At the same time, withdrawing means going back to my current BA English college, which I’m also not very happy with. I also don’t want to waste another year because I already feel like I’ve lost enough time.

So my options right now are basically:

  1. Continue with Amity Patna BJMC — at least I’ll get a private university environment, a professional course, campus exposure, activities, internships, etc., but I’m worried about whether the degree will actually be worth the money.

  2. Withdraw from Amity and continue BA English — financially safer, but I’m worried about regretting not taking the opportunity to move forward and being stuck in the same environment.

I know Amity isn’t some top-tier university, and I’m not expecting miracles. I just want to know whether Amity Patna BJMC is actually as bad as Reddit makes it sound, or whether people online tend to focus disproportionately on negative experiences.

If anyone has studied at Amity Patna, especially BJMC/Mass Communication, I’d really appreciate honest advice about:

Faculty and academics

Internships and practical exposure

Placements after BJMC

Student crowd/campus life

Whether the degree helped you career-wise

Whether the fees were worth it

And most importantly, what would you do in my situation?

Please be honest. I’m not looking for someone to blindly praise or hate Amity. I genuinely need help making this decision before classes start.

Really need suggestions 🙂

So I completed my 12th grade in 2025, but my score was below 60%. After that, I had to take a gap year because of a chronic illness. During that time, my health kept getting worse, and I wasn't physically or mentally in a condition to fill out CUET or other entrance exam forms.

When I finally started recovering, I got an interview for Clinical Psychology at Amity Noida. Unfortunately, I was rejected. With very limited options left and a lot of pressure from my family, I took admission to Amity Patna. Now that I've already paid the ₹30,000 seat booking amount, I regret my decision every single day. I keep wondering if I made the wrong choice, but at that time, I felt like I had no other option.

Please someone help me is Amity patna is worth for bjmc program 😭

Will I get my seat booking amount back from Amity Patna? If I don't get the refund, does that mean I'll be forced to complete the admission process? I'm really worried.
