Gurren Lagann is peak.
Even Russio unfortunately. I made the "mistake" of saying I hated him on this subreddit and everyone came at me "you don't understand the story", "finish the anime and come back". I finished, I still don't like him. I should feel pity because he wanted to taste a bullet? He is a good character, of course, well written and an actual logical person in a group of insane people. But I just don't like him. Russio's n°1 defender leave me alone please, I don't like him and that's final, you have the right to love him, it's not less valid than my opinion.
Anyway.
It might be a bit vanilla but my fave is Kamina, it's pretty rare to see someone influence the story so much even after dying. The team as a whole is the best squad in anime history. Who is your favourite character?
