Mr. stupid is changing the question..

This Gandookari is still defending ethanol blending. He says you should visit an authorized service center to check your vehicle's mileage. But the simple question is: How was the same vehicle giving better mileage 6–7 years ago, when ethanol blending wasn't 20%? Why has the mileage dropped now?

Trial Balloons, Public Reactions, and Government Denials — The New Normal?

I really don’t understand what the Indian government is trying to do anymore, or what kind of journalism many media houses are practicing these days.

A few weeks ago, several news channels reported that fuel prices could increase soon. Immediately, the government and its entire machinery came out calling the news are “fake” and “misleading.”

Now once again, similar reports are surfacing — this time about possible taxes, cess, or surcharges on foreign travel. And once again, PM is saying the news is false.

What exactly is this pattern? For the last 3–4 years, it feels like the same tactic has been repeated again and again — first float the news through unofficial channels, observe the public reaction, and if the backlash is manageable, move ahead with it. Otherwise, simply deny it and let the issue fade away.

This constant cycle of leaks, denials, and reversals is only creating confusion and mistrust among the public.
