I got a layered haircut!

After months of friends telling me I had wavy hair, I decided to finally get a proper layered haircut so that it would become wayy lighter and manageable.

It used to be a heavy, long block of hair before

Routine

1- garnier ultra dolce shampoo

2- garnier fructis curly method conditioner (scrunched in a lot) every 3 to 4 days

3- cantu shea butter wave whip curling mousse style (also scrunched in a lot)

4- Noah curl reviving fluid with rice proteins

I scrunched and combed my hair with the conditioner in then I scrunched in every styling products with my head upside-down, making sure to saturate the hair with it. In the end I diffused it upside-down after parting it in four sections then I flipped it over

I protect it with a satin bonnet at night and I still don't di any refresh routines

How can i significantly reduce epilating pain?

i've been shaving forever but my skin is a bit sensitive and i get lots of ingrowns, so i tried epilating (braun silk epil 5 i think) and i genuinely was so in pain, i did NOT have the mental strenght to epilate again for two years, but i don't want to go to a salon.

so i was doing some research and i found out about lidocaine cream, but it said i shouldn't be using it on my whole legs because my body would absorbe way too much and there might be side effects, but i feel like just taking a painkiller might not be enough for my (very) low pain tolerance.

is there some kind of solution for the pain??
