This is happening
The 5th Annual Scherler Sundays outdoor concert series, happening today (Sunday, July 5th) at 3:00 PM behind the historic Carnegie Library (which is currently under construction, pardon our dust) in downtown Olympia!
Presented by the non-profit Free Music Olympia, this is a completely free, all-ages, and dog-friendly summer tradition happening every Sunday afternoon in July and August.
What to expect:
Live Music: A stacked lineup of original music by independent artists (no covers), including several unlikely reunions of bygone classic Olympia bands! Today at 3 it’s Moth Logic (new Olympia band), IROIRO (The Stranger says “Seattle’s best new rock band”), Kusikia (recently reunited PDX trio)
Onstage Interviews: Live artist interviews for a deeper look into the music.
On site: Food trucks, local nonprofit partners, band merch, beer from Three Magnets Brewing and Self Care NA brews.

Mark your calendars for Sunday, August 23rd for our Olympia Music History Project Showcase! Last year’s showcase had the vibe of a big, happy family reunion, and this year features seven bands active between 1981–2002 performing live—including The Blow, Calamity Jane, Witchypoo, and many more! Plus, a massive Community Bazaar organized by Hot Dog Bad Girl.
