So I'm currently waiting on a arturia minifreak to pair with digitakt 2...just wondering if i wanted to stay dawless and layer different patches from the minifreak into a pattern in assuming I'd just sample different patches ...then add then as track.... I'm guessing it would be a bit more straightforward to use ableton and just record the different patches in live...but i have no audio interface and never used a daw
So i purchased a Lyra-4..but just didn't gel with it so returned it .. and decided to try the King drone from Lefty's Sound lab....waiting for it at the moment....
I figured it was a lot cheaper and from what I've seen quite straightforward....but i had severe GAS over the elmyra 2 but didn't have the money ......but ....i had a torsa s4....just wasn't happy with the build quality, for over £700 i expected a bit more than wobbly knobs ....(been spoilt by the quality of my Digitakt 2)..anyway.... with the money from the return of the S4....i made a rash decision... and brought a elmyra 2...
.i know.... quite a big crossover but i figure the elmyra can handle the notes,chords. Etc and the king drone...can ..well...drone ..
So anyone else using both?...hows it working out for you?
Any input would be great...
Also do you get any patch cables with the elmyra?

Hi ...just wondering if anyone is using a digitakt 2 with the s4 ?
Im trying to sequence the s4 from the digitakt...i can sync it so the torso follows tempo from digitakt and stops and starts ...but i want to place trigger on digitakt pattern to play tracks on s4 ....if i set up midi track on digitakt and press the track on digitakt...it doesn't play anything from the s4...but if i press play on digitakt all tracks play ....if that makes sense
Okay sorry if this is a silly question...but I've had my S4 for a few days and don't know how to add scenes...for instance..i have 4 tracks i want 4 scenes starting with one track in scene one and adding track each scene...but can't seem to do it....

Hi ... just waiting to pick my S4 up after work ...i had a digitone 2 and digitakt 2 ..but found my self using the digitakt more...so sold the digitone to fund an S4....kinda feel i should have sold the digitakt ...as i think the digitone +s4 would have been a good combination....anyway it's done now...so just wondering if other's are using the s4 standalone or with synths ...if so what are you pairing them with...
