i’m sure this has been talked about to death, but i am on my first ever watch through of summer house and have hit s10e13, which is the soft opening of soft bar. carl’s confessional where he says, “i don’t know if soft bar would exist without my brother passing, but i would burn soft bar down in a second to bring him back.” really broke my heart. his journey to get sober, his brother passing, is genuinely one of the most compelling arcs i’ve ever seen in a bravo show. i have made a full 180 on my view of carl from season 1 to now, like WOW.

hey yall! i just got started on rover and have my first booking coming up.

i’ve house sat and dog sat for a while, and since moving from my hometown decided to hop on rover since i cant sit for my mom’s friends anymore.

i already have a welfare concern about one of the dogs im going to be caring for. this dog is an intact male husky, and from my meet and greet i could tell he’s a big sweetheart with a lot of energy. the owner does not have a fenced in backyard and seldom takes the dogs on walks. every night the husky is kenneled to sleep since he will destroy things if unwatched. the owner describes this behavior as “being a jerk,” but as someone who knows a bit about animal behavior, this is obviously a case of pent up energy needing to be spent, and the husky’s outlet has become destruction.

i can tell this dog needs consistent long walks and a backyard to run around in to spend energy. my question is how do i communicate these suggestions and observations to the owner without coming off as holier than thou or overstepping? and how can i appropriately care for this high energy dog for a short weekend to see some behavior changes? is this enough time to encourage behavior changes?

i understand the goal of collabs is to get people in the door and get non-bbw people to convert and purchase. BUT these disney collabs are SO lackluster. including princesses, villains and NBC, the scents are uninspired, tired, and entirely too simple for the collab. they lack any imagination for the company known for imagination.

just an FYI that i received my shipping # today (technically day 8 after ordering) and checked my shipping status — my order was actually shipped june 17 (day 6) and it is already in my city and delivering tomorrow

everyone needs to chill out about shipping confirmations and updates. they explicitly said at check out, on their website, and in your order confirmations that processing times will be 5-7 business days, which is very normal for a limited edition drop like this. we are on day 4. for my spring release order, it took about a week to ship. rhode and hailey also explicitly said this is one of their biggest launches ever — which subsequently means longer processing times. it doesn’t matter what time you ordered, how close you are to the warehouse, etc. processing times will be longer for everyone because it’s one of their highest volumes of orders ever. please chill out about shipping.

i am SO GLAD that BBW execs are finally waking up and realizing that they shouldn’t be pulling away from EDLs but diving headfirst into it. i know it takes away from “original fragrances” from BBW but a lot of EDLs (to me) are similar but not the same to their og and end up being a great BBW spin on the fragrance. eau de coconut is genuinely one of the best fragrances BBW has put out in recent memory. i hope this means full product lines for EDLs soon — body wash, body butter, body lotion, the whole shabang! give it to us!

i applied to the online ad & pr master’s program on 05/18 and my application has been in departmental review since 05/19. has anyone heard back yet? how long did the department take to review your application. i am incredibly impatient lol
