Who are the best sorceresses morally in the books?

In my opinion, the only decent human being among sorceresses is Marti Sodergren, despite being incredibly promiscous. Even if I adore Yennefer, I wouldn't call her a decent human being considering the things she done to Geralt and Dandelion in "the Last Wish" and her role in genetic manipulation on the Elder Blood gene even though she obviously regrets it after learning everything from Francesca. As far as I know, Marti is the only sorceress who is not interested in power or politics. She is not much different than a common doctor trying to save lives. One of the saddest parts in the books for me is her crying over not being able to save Hen Gedymdeith and questioning Sabrina slapping her. Also her refusal to leave behind Dorregaray to die right in the chaos of what's happening around her made me respect her so much even after getting annoyed by her comments about Geralt and Yennefer during the ball. An underrated character in my opinion with a very sad end to her story.

I would also consider Tissaia de Vries as morally good, but I believe her conviction on forbidding sorceresses from having any kids is one of the biggest reasons that many of the sorceresses grow up to be ambitious, arrogant, cunning and vile because they can't choose to live a normal life like common people and will have trouble in any romantic relationship they are in because of the world they live in. Yennefer becoming a much better person after meeting Ciri is a testament to that.

If I had to choose someone from the Lodge, I think Assire var Anahid is the best one as the only shady stuff we see her doing is her trying to protect her relative Cahir.

Is the Grandpa of the Forest a reference to a serial killer?

I don't want to get into details as it is the most disgusting thing I've read in Witcher so far. Is the old man who tries to do horrible things to Ciri at a shed in the forest while Ciri was travelling through time and space a reference to a serial killer? Also how does he know that Ciri travels through time and space? Also why did Sapkowski had to write this little passage, I want to vomit like Ciri.

About Geralt's way of finding Vilgefortz' hiding place

It seems to me that he lucked into a very secret conversation between Nilfgaardian conspirators about everything he wanted and needed to know. My theory is that Fringilla somehow knew about the conspirators being there and designed her Temu witcher medallion to lead Geralt to them. She never led Geralt to that vineyard specifically, he got that job from meeting the vineyard owner in a tavern. Actually Fringilla acted like she didn't want him to go killing monsters. This is the first time in the books that I smelled poor writing.

Did Yennefer really kill her parents?

During her chat with Freya (?) Yennefer sees her parents and tells the goddess "You are reminding me of people that died by my hand" Did she truly killed her parents or her father killed her mother because of Yennefer? That passage was pretty hard to understand, I would like to hear other thoughts.

I have a few questions about Vilgefortz and Geralt's conversation before the Raid on Thanedd

1- Why does Vilgefortz want Geralt by his side? Does he truly think Geralt is stupid enough to let him do whatever he wants to Ciri? Also looking at the way he absolutely beats the hell out of Geralt, he doesn't need him at all. Is it just because he thinks Geralt is similar to him? And does he want to create a legend about two vagabonds who became bigger men than their humble origins?

2- We never see Geralt's answer to Vilgefortz' question of "Can you bind a woman to your will? If yes, how?" I guess his answer was "You can't". Also does Vilgefortz betray his intention of binding Ciri to his will?

3- Why does Vilgefortz always say " You mistook the stars reflected on a pond for the night sky?". Is he just aura farming by calling people a fool in a fancy way? Or is it Sapkowski aura farming by putting this quote he created at every opportunity?

Blood of Elves (Chapter 3 Question) Forget about him or her?

I read the 3rd chapter just now and during Ciri's trance Ciri tells Triss something. Now I read a Turkish translation and Turkish doesnt have any gendered pronouns so I don't know what she says is "Forget him" or "Forget her". So who does Ciri (or the voice behind her) tell Triss to forget and not cause to suffer? Later we see Triss and Geralt talk about it and learn that Ciri whispered the same words while Geralt was holding her. I assume she tells Triss to forget Geralt but I am not really sure it can also refer to Ciri herself.

Is there any good way to make Anbennar less laggy?

I really like Anbennar but with my antique PC the games go so slow like the time it takes 50 years in vanilla EU4 is equal to 10 years in Anbennar on my PC. I know you can disable some of the continents at the start of the game but I dont wanna miss out on any content of the mod. Are there any other mods that I can use with Anbennar to make it less lagging?
