P9PF Hinge crack, Google Japan wants to charge me $500
Hi guys, I am located in Japan and Google launched their first store in Tokyo yesterday.
My Pixel 9 Pro fold inner screen is completely dead and has a crack caused by the faulty hinge.
The service guy escalated my case to several leaders then after almost one hour wait he told me I need to pay for the service fee to get the RMA which is a P10PF…
The crack was caused by your faulty hinge dude!
Well…as much as I mentioned that, he still insisted that because there are cracks (which is caused by the faulty hinge) therefore the extended warranty cannot be applied to my device.
Totally disappointed…
