Quick question for other Gates Scholarship recipients:

I understand scholarship funds are usually released around July. My college says they need verification of my financial aid before August. Who should my school’s financial aid office contact to verify my Gates Scholarship funding, and what information do they need?

I am young (18) and I believe I can do it but I would like advice.

For context, I am 280 pounds, female, 5’6. I would have a consistent food plan and would be able to exercise more freely.

Okay so during one of the TGSSI virtual sessions, we had to complete a survey. I answered honestly and said some of the information felt repetitive and surface-level because I was hoping for more practical/deeper discussion about AI and adapting to it professionally.

Now I haven’t received the travel details form for the in-person component, while other scholars apparently already have it on their dashboards. One of my squad members said they actually got a CALL from Gates because of their survey response too, and now I’m lowkey panicking wondering if I said something wrong 😭

For context:
- I completed the virtual sessions
- submitted the survey
- checked my dashboard/email repeatedly
- still no travel form

Do y’all think I’m overthinking this, or should I actually be concerned?
