Cane for Support

Hi! I’ve had POTS since I was a child but wasn’t diagnosed until a little over a year ago. I have needed a cane for a long time, but refused to use one due to trauma and fear of judgment. I’m working on healing from this.

I have finally accepted that I need a mobility aid for support with walking and standing/getting up. My doctor prescribed me a cane and I just started using it. I just want to say I am blown away by how much it is helping me already. But since my neighbors have only known me without one, I am worried people will ask me what happened and things like that.

Got my hysto yesterday! Everything out!

Excited and doing well! In my opinion, the recovery process is much easier than top surgery. The pain just feels like I did a really intense ab workout.
