Looking for Liftoff music artists!

Calling all music artists in the Liftoff community!

We’re looking for artists who’d be interested in sharing their music for Liftoff update promo videos, clips and social content.

It’s a cool opportunity to get your music heard by the FPV community around the world while helping us make our videos even more awesome.

A few important things:

  • 100% human-made music only, no AI-generated tracks.
  • The music needs to be fully created by you/the artist.
  • Proper rights/licensing so everyone is legally covered.
  • We’re happy to discuss compensation.

We’re specifically looking for existing music, so there’s no need to create anything new. We’ll review the submissions and select one artist to license music from.

Really wanted the wood panel... to match my desk.

When the Steam Machine was revealed, I instantly fell in love with the wood panel version. I was hoping to get the 2TB version that came with it, that includes this panel... I was selected to purchase the cheaper version instead.

I bought a matching wooden desk anyway, wishful thinking that these panels would eventually be easy to find secondhand, or that Valve would offer them separately. Especially considering that the version you got the opportunity to purchase was ultimately Valve’s choice, not the consumer’s.

Unfortunately, neither seems to be the case. 😅

Unless I’m missing something, is there a marketplace or somewhere else where these wood panels are available?

Is this a broken stem?

My first attempt at assembling a watch. I bought a new Miyota 82S0 movement, and it came with a stem loose in the package. When I had trouble inserting any other stem into the movement, I started to suspect that this loose stem isn’t supposed to be separate and may actually be broken, with a piece still stuck inside the movement. Is that correct? If so, is there an easy way to remove the part that’s still stuck?

Marina Bay Phase 2 Testing — Looking for High-End PC Testers

We’re starting Phase 2 of testing and inviting people through our Discord channel.

We’re looking for testers with a reasonably capable PC setup your system should be able to run Liftoff comfortably on the highest graphics settings.

The Marina Bay level is now content-complete and feature-complete, although we’ll still be doing an additional optimization pass.

At this stage, we’re focused on gathering early impressions and identifying areas for improvement ahead of the public launch. Invitations will be sent out in small waves via Discord.
