We as a family are thinking of moving to Albania or Bulgaria but are worried a bit about integration and language learning. Has anyone moved to Albania or Bulgaria? How was your experience? What is the cost of life?
Do you mind being asked “Where are you from?” by strangers?
Maybe it's just me, but I find the question strangely personal coming from a stranger I met 5 seconds ago, or maybe I've just got tired of it.
How do you feel about it?
I wonder, those of you who form a multilingual family, for example, father speaks A, mother speaks B, living in a country of language C; do you teach your children the heritage language?
I love reading; I start as soon as I decide to learn a new language. What percentage do you feel reading has helped you improve your language skills? Do you even like reading? If so, what genre?
