What’s the telltale sign that someone is a reseller?

basically the title - when you’re at the bins, what are the dead giveaways people are doing that tells you they’re a reseller?

I would just be there shopping for myself and my family, but it feels like everyone else is a professional reseller who does this 9-5 and they somehow know something I don’t about how to find the good brands or something. But maybe it’s just FOMO because they are so confident with their swarming - especially the teenage boys! I kind of want to talk to them and get some tips but I’m scared they’ll think I’m their “competition“. But maybe that’s just how everyone is at the bins?

Maybe I’m overthinking it. What do you guys think? And if you are a reseller yourself, is it annoying if casual shoppers ask you about your strategy or does that feel like they’re trying to learn your secrets?

Hervé Léger Ginger Identification Help

Hi everyone! First time posting on this sub.

I thrifted this dress and it had no brand label inside but it’s not polyester and it’s heavy which usually = quality so I picked it up.

Google reverse image search brings up Hervé Léger Ginger from the 2000s. Unfortunately there’s nothing on this dress that says that name and I’d love any help in making an identification.

The dress is quite heavy and very strong like it feels like shapewear. The zipper says “YKK 5CC” on it. Care label is still there showing fabric content and washing instructions and size. Also the hanging ribbons were cut off but there’s still several inches sewn into the sides of the dress and those are a peachy pinkish orange ish color.

If anyone has any experience with this brand I’d appreciate any feedback! Or if you have a suggestion of another sub I could try I’ll take that too!
