I finish my first tank!! C&C welcome.

I bought this beauty for 20 euros. The turret is from the new the new LRBT box that i had, i basicly used paper hardened with superglue to make the hole smaller and the gaps for this turret.

I decided to use an old pen to enlarge the barrel and magnetize it. Now i havethe normal barrel and Vanquiser side one.

Overall i think i oversteped in the scrahes and damage but im pretty happy with the result. I may will add some snow to the tracks.

Edit: Forgot to say, my army is the 122nd of cadia. I really like this scheme that is usually done for krieg. I added the marking of valhalla because in my lore the company went to that planet to train in frozen terrains.

Crisis loadout??

I saw a recent post today about farsight and flamers vs fusion.

What i have seen recently in "Listhammer" is that Farsight now a days in 2k games people are using, at least top players, Farsight+plasma, CS+Burstcannon x2 and Enforcer+missiles in Ret Cad.

The flamers and fusions are barely seen in this lists, why?? Is is simple math thing, are there something in 11th that make plasma good or the other bad??

Im trying to build a Tau army and currently in my 1k point list im planning to use 2 crisis with a coldstar and a Farsight. Im only using a ghostkeel with fusion as antittank so i guess i will need the sunforges, the loadout that i was planning is:

*Farsight+Flamer, CS+Fusion.

*Farsight+fusion, CS+Burst cannon.

*Farsight and CS with fusion+plasmas, no clue how.

which one is better vs a "tournament list"? do i go for the rule of cool until i have 2k army? even then, why the plasma on farsight, isnt it better something that needs to get close to enemies with him?

Finished my 1st squad, 3 more to go!! C&C welcome.

It was fun but feel this models are quite old for some details, and very clunky to assamble. I bay 40 of them for 40 euros so i guess it was worth it.

Still missing some white details in shoulder and the edge of some armours.

Next is a Leman Rush batlle tank, should i go for the same painting scheme, something like Krieg tanksmor should i try something new?
