I’m currently an SDR with a big tech company making $70k a year after Bonus (no commission) I just got offered $130k Base at a startup where they now basically growing an SDR Team, got a second round just now Series B of $150M, Will be working closer with closing roles and path to AE is 1-2 yrs while at the big one is 3-4 years if you don’t get layed off.

Would you make this move?

What actually separates BDRs who get promoted to AE in 12 months from those who stay BDR for 3 years?

Starting BDR at an enterprise software company next week. Goal is AE in 12 months.

I know the obvious answer is hit quota. Looking for the non-obvious stuff.

What behaviors or habits actually drove the promotion beyond numbers?

How important is your relationship with AEs versus your direct manager?

What would you do differently in your first 90 days?

Honest answers only please.

BDR role at ServiceNow

I got offered a BDR Role at ServiceNow with Spanish requirement to target the LATAM market, and a new program they have called GBA, but just yesterday I walk on linkedin and see around 300 ppl who just got laid off after being there for 7-8 years? Should I even join an organization like this? I do like their product and how their AI are positioned for the next 5 years.

$62,500 Base + $6,500 Bonus so $69,000 total Comp, no Comission for this specific position? Is it good for this industry? First tech sdr role.

Give me some honest advice please!

BDR Bilingual Role at ServiceNow

I’m currently interviewing for a BDR Bilingual role with Spanish required which is my native language, have around 3 yrs of B2B sales experience.

Now my question is I make $65k now and Servicenow offered me $55k maybe cause by mistake on my initial Interview I sais that I was comfortable with a range of $50-70k. Should I counter offer them to $65-70k Base? You guys think they will agree? Also the role has no commission, just a 10% Bonus
