All the zombies on the coast of the Weeping Peninsula...
Are they the Tarnished who failed to flee with Lord Godfrey?
There are so many of them, gazing out to sea, surrounded by what looks like the remnants of old boats.

I am searching the depths of the Golden Order, like a Gold Mask of inferior intelligence and aura, as I try to reanswer old questions I thought I already had answers for.
So, to begin with a statement.
Is the following fair to say?:
The Elden Ring = rules of how the world works on a fundamental level ( life, death, trees, wind)
The Elden Ring's current ruleset under Marika = The Golden Order ( no natural death, rebirth through the Erdtree )
If this is correct, that would mean the world would stagnate under this current Order, as people aren't dying as they should.
Political things, such as oppression and racism towards others (like the Misbegotten), are NOT part of the Elden Ring, but a part of Marika's governance. Or, the political party known as the Golden Order, not the Elden Ring.
So, by my reckoning, it seems that one of the main issues can be solved by simply restoring death, which we do. As for the political issues, would it be fair to say that the next Elden Lord would have a lot of sway with those?
What I am getting at, is that I think Perfect Order can indeed be a very good ending, assuming the above statements to be true. The Age if Stars is another good choice, but I am unsure if the ends justify the means. After all, the player character becomes very experienced and strong by the end of the game and, depending on your interpretation of your character, could make for a fine and just leader. Not a tyrant, maybe not even a real Ruler, but maybe person that can help people get back on their feet. But would this be any different from any other lord or conquerer? Going around and allying ourselves only with those that align with our 'perfect morality'?
The Age of Stars leaves the world in the hands of the (admittedly struggling) people, Perfect Order leaves it in our own hands. Ranni removes the objects of faith from interference and creates her own order with it, Goldmask's rune makes the Ring un-tamperable. Whatever you do to it before installing Goldmask's Mending Rune is final.
I think that one of the reasons I like the Perfect Order ending is that I like to think of my Tarnished as the heroic type. Willing to do whatever she must to help make the world become a better place for everyone through diplomacy. Miquella's plan was to seemingly 'brute-force' everyone into happiness. Ranni seems to want to let them sort themselves out and hopefully it'll pay off eventually. To me, Goldmask is the one trying to more fairly fix the world we already have.
Ultimately, I am unsure. I think it, as always, comes down to interpretation and personal headcanon. I do think I (and maybe other people like me) get confused about exactly WHAT The Golden Order is.
If you read all that, I am sorry! Just wanted to put it out there and see what others think.
Getting frustrated trying to kill those two bosses early for the talisman. Also, my favourite shield in the game <3
can also mule if needed
Ign is Ekala Neveri.
And if so, what are your experiences with the game? I enjoy action rpg's, immersion, exploration, cool lore and the ability to make powerful and self-sufficient builds.
This game looks pretty cool and I may try it, but am wondering if its good for a long time investment.
Hey guys! Ridiculously overly picky glam enjoyer here.
I've always enjoyed monochrome glams and, specifically, I have always loved Zero from DoD3's design! So, after bashing my head against the marketboard and various other vendors, I have finally come up with two variations of the outfit that I think fit the vibe fairly well.
If you don't mind, could you please give me some feedback on the outfits? Which one do you think is better? What would you change?
Also, as a bonus question, what job should I go with? Currently going SAM because sword, but I also wonder if RPR could be a good choice. Would job would you guys pick?
Many thanks and sorry if the screenshots are a bit iffy!
