G9M2, PL 100-400 with 1.4TC @ 294mm, F7.3, 1/800s, ISO125

Does anyone know how long it takes for for the G9M2 to capture the individual images for a High Resolution image? Disregard the processing time to produce the final file.

For instance, if my shutter was 1/1000 sec, how long do I need to keep my camera steady once I activate the shutter?

I'm having a lot of difficulty with my G9M2 obtaining and maintaining focus. Even after the camera has detected the subject and has it "boxed" I can still see that the auto focus is hunting. Sometimes it's so bad that the focus motor in the lens will cycle through the full range, even after I'm already "locked on". (constant focus mode)

It happens routinely. This is just a sampling from my most recent outings. It happens both with the PL 50-200 and the PL 100-400M2

Doesn't matter that the subject is in good light, in high contrast, large enough in the frame and well inside the focus area. I even see this happen when the subject is relatively static, sitting on a branch.

And the fact that the subject is detected and boxed is not guarantee that the shot will be in focus. Very frustrating.
