I’ve been watching Alex since the attic-and-Alan days and I swear I’ve never seen her so unhinged than in this latest vlog.
Watching today’s vlog was wild. I’ve been watching her since she and her mom lived together and Alex had that cute attic bedroom and closet room - while I do snark on here when it calls for it, I do still actively watch and enjoy a lot of her content, especially the seasonal/holiday stuff. Sue me. 🤷🏼♀️
ANYWAY, I have never seen her so manic and unhinged as I saw today. After begging for weeks for a premature birth (which is wild in and of itself), after she found that pumpkin stack thing, she said ‘Hopefully I don’t go into labor tonight, and I can go look for another one’. She’s changing her mind about what she wants for her labor experience based solely on outdoor decor???
The insane changes in her voice and demeanor this vlog were alarming. Go back and listen when she sees the stacked pumpkin and she says ‘this is sick’ - it was just very weird and desperate but completely genuine.
Over the years, I’ve watched Alex do A LOT of shopping. Like, 2015 Target shopping on Thanksgiving night when she bought new bed pillows for her attic room and back when she and Mark or her mom would do Target runs. She has never ever been like this - and I can imagine the absolute impending hormonal crash she’s about to take after baby comes. What can go this high and wild can only come down.
This is alarming.
Reddit story about an uncanny bookstore, a drugged cup of tea, and ‘town’s burning’.
I’m searching for a Reddit story which may have been posted in a comment rather than its own post. It involved a man visiting an old-fashioned bookstore and being approached sexually by the woman running it. He rebuffed her advances - uncomfortable - and she gave him a cup of tea. He later saw her watching porn in an adjacent room. He recounted going to leave the bookstore and (likely hallucinating) a cowboy on a horse who nodded to him and said ‘Town’s burning.’
He was later unable to locate or verify the existence of the bookstore, and suspected the woman of slipping something into his tea.
I’d love to read this story again as it was detailed and interesting. Would anyone else happen to remember this and have a link? Thanks!

Very new to this - questions regarding Reserve service and the potential for deployment.
Very new to researching this and Google can only tell me so much - please be helpful and respectful as I’m still learning. ☺️ (Yes, I am planning on speaking eventually with a recruiter. Just thought I’d pop in here in the meantime.)
I’m a woman in my early thirties in the very early stages of considering the reserve - interested specifically in YN. Very interested in the YN work itself as well as the education gained in A school and the addition of it to my resumé.
Those in the reserve - have you been involuntarily deployed, and how long did that deployment last? I’ve heard volunteering for mobilization, but curious about how it goes for those who do not volunteer. I know of people who join the reserve due to the fact that they have families that they cannot leave for a long period - those of you, are you constantly on edge wondering if today is the day that you’ll find out you’re being deployed overseas? Just truly curious about how that works for you all who have careers and families and lives outside the reserve - are you constantly waiting for the shoe to drop or do you feel (relatively) comfortably secure?
Hoping for some respectful insight here, thank you all for your service. 💙💛
Alex tensing up and shooting daggers at Yar when he mentions his coworker. “Is that what SHE did?”
That time she hinted on camera that she and Alan were gonna go do it when she was done vlogging.
Never noticed before, but nose job???
Happened into an old vlog from eleven years ago - I was watching her during this era, from way back in her mom’s old house. Here she is in a vlog with Alan, and the side profile of her nose is completely different. Look at the little (cute in my opinion) dip in her bridge and upturn of the tip. I never noticed the change (which was probably what she was going for - succeeded tbh, credit where credit is due 👏🏻) This just surprised me!
