Just got a new job at a bank 2.2 miles from my house. The ride there would mostly on 1 slightly busy main road(not a highway of any sort). No sidewalk but a large shoulder.

Currently i drive a 2010 civic which i feel is sufficient enough but debating if i should buy an ebike. Not sure if id be able to park it at the bank but it shares a parking lot with walmart which i might be able to park it at.

My only concern is messing my hair up everyday riding to work.

Would this make sense to buy an ebike? so many options to buy im so lost

applied for associate banker role. had branch interview it went well, interviewer didnt ask if i had time off coming up. few hours later got a call with the offer starting july 20th and i asked if any chance i could get august 19-24th off, as i had planned pto with other job?

recruiter says they will get back to me monday if this is a dealbreaker. Will they give me the ultimatum for job or time off? or will they just move on? because i would rather cancel trip as it is refundable.

interviewer originally said she did 6 interviews and had 2 more and i would get a call in a week or 2 if i got job.
