Having Another Child After SUDC

We lost our only son at 22 months old 6 months ago to SUDC. We're still navigating this heartbreak and utilizing resources (including the SUDC Foundation and therapy). We have always wanted to have more children and are actively exploring our options.

I know IVF has the advantage of genetic testing, but our son's genetic testing came back with 5 variants of uncertain significance so no clear genetic cause. I did do carrier blood testing and am waiting for those results.

I'm hoping to connect with others who have gone on to have another child after sudden loss. And get advice on the trying to conceive process as well as navigating pregnancy and parenting after loss.

Systems for Small Non Profit

Looking for recommendations for accounting systems that are good for a small non profit and donation softwares that integrate well.

The organization will be very small and volunteer run. The organization will focus on community kindness and support for families experiencing sudden child loss.

I will be handling the financials and am in the accounting field, but not sure what smaller softwares are out there.

Thanks for any advice.

Advice on real methods that actually work?

I'm a 5ft 1in woman in my early 30s and have a had a lot of ups and downs in my weight, but am currently at the highest I've ever weighed around 240 pounds. I have hypothyroidism (will be having my tsh rechecked to see if my levels are still at a good place) and possible PCOS.

Trying to give myself some grace as my current weight probably has a lot to do with stress. I had a baby in 2024 and a few months ago we lost him suddenly in his sleep. So between life with a busy toddler and then grieving; food and exercise probably hasn't been optimal. But I've had a hard time actually loosing and keeping substantial weight off.

Currently my husband and I have joined a new gym, but I'm not even 100% sure what to do when there. And we've signed up to start weight watchers again. Any advice? Things that actually work?

Front steps?

These are our front steps. I'm hoping to improve them and add a paver walkway. I hate the side steps. Should I cover them in wood? Try making a concrete step on the front and make it even with the sides? Thanks for any advice
