So I got IIT Guwahati Robotics and AI,I am interested in AI and Data Science but unfortunately Robotics is something which I have no knowledge about as I am from Mathematics and Computer Science Background. I have heard that course is hectic and placement is also not upto mark unlike Data Science.

But problem is I have less than 750 score.

And the cutoff it was 741,its cutoff has drastically reduced this year.

So should I reject it and wait for Operations Research Kharagpur, IIT Indore AI,IIT Saharanpur Mathematics and Computing ,IIT Hyderabad Online Data Science and other DS AI branch of Top IITs or should accept and freeze it ?

Is it worth it to take this branch or look for some other branches ?

Giving GATE DA feels like a mistake.The seats of AI ML and DS which should have been exclusive only for DA students is stolen from them to CS,EE and ECE Aspirants but not vice versa.On top of that Top IITs have only 20 seats on an average for AI ML and DS for Gen students which is freely distributed to other aspirants.The job market is also at all time low since past 4 years and IIT are not increasing their seats for it while keeping high number of seats in CS and outdated courses.Instead of encouraging research and study on Artifical Intelligence,Data Science and Machine Learning,IIT Directors of top institutes like V Kamakoti,Rangan Banerjee,Suman Chakraborty, etc are talking on benefits of Gaumutra,Gobar and Vedas,but China and USA have progressed with LLMs and Semcons.Also uneducated elected representatives are making education unaffordable, hard,corrupt and leaks are happening.I thought giving GATE DA would helpful,but now I am deprssed and lonely as my friends are earning million bucks and I am earning peanuts.Also very sad that I am of no help to my family.My research and development dreams are over and GATE DA fooled me in that.So don't give GATE DA,instead give exam on other subjects to help preseving your time and health.

Why is that IIT ISM Dhanbad AI and DS has low cutoff than Data Analytics,is that AI and DS is weaker as compared to Data Analytics ?
Or there is something else to it ?

Unfortunately I am not selected for Minds Interview, got info from someone close from IIT-D and Mtech was always out of reach for me.
