28F looking for friends

Hello, im looking for people who actually want to build a real, long-term friendship not just talk for a day and disappear.

I’m pretty introverted, but once I’m comfortable, I love talking, laughing, sharing random things throughout the day, gaming, and just having someone I can vibe with. I enjoy reading, writing, music, traveling, and binge-watching shows/anime.

I don’t expect anyone to reply 24/7 because we all have lives, but consistency and mutual effort mean a lot to me. I’d especially love to find that one close friend where we can talk about anything, support each other, and eventually be like, “Damn, we’ve really been friends for years.” if possible! LOL.

If you’re also looking for something genuine, feel free to reach out.

Venting

Okay so it has been a little over two months since I started, about one month of training and a month and two weeks working on the floor with the children. I genuinely care about my clients and enjoy doing everything I can to help them learn, grow, and make progress. However, I wish the clinic that i work with had better communication, organization, and professionalism because the workplace drama can make the environment stressful with other techs.

I also, for the love of God, dislike being a floater and constantly being assigned to different clients. It is difficult to provide consistent and effective support when I repeatedly have to learn each child’s targets, reinforcement preferences, communication style, behavior plan, triggers, antecedents, prompting levels, replacement behaviors, coping strategies, toileting or feeding routines, and safety needs all while trying to hurry up and hit the 45 target goal for today. Has anyone ever felt this way or is it this me? I know im still technically new in this career. I just don't want feel like im the odd one out.

I know every child is different, and it takes time to build rapport, pair with them, understand their behaviors, and learn what motivates them.

I feel like having more consistency with client assignments would help me feel more confident and allow me to provide stronger support. Unfortunately, I understand that ABA clinics do not always operate that way, especially when staffing and scheduling needs change. I am not burned out yet, but I have already told myself that I want to do everything I can over the next two years to help these children grow and gain valuable experience before moving forward in my career.

Hello! 27 female looking for penpals or long term friends

Just a little something about myself I am someone who enjoys writing, learning, and connecting with people when the energy feels genuine. I can be introverted at times, but I still like having meaningful conversations. I’m into psychology, storytelling, anime, romance, fantasy, and i love traveling different countries and appreciating different cultures. I hope to meet some like-minded people that are interesting in getting to know eachothers.
