Prayers for sick dog

Hi everyone.. I’m asking for prayers for my boyfriend’s 11-year-old dog who is going into surgery tomorrow. We recently found a growth in his nose and the vet is concerned it could be cancer.

He’s been such an important part of my boyfriend’s life and we’re both really scared but hoping for the best outcome and some more time with him. He’s still eating and acting like himself. This surgery will remove it and tell us what it is. we don’t know what they will find.

I’ve been praying for him but I also know there’s comfort in asking others to pray too. If anyone could pray for him, for the vets performing the surgery, and for peace for my boyfriend and his dog, I would really appreciate it.

God bless you all 🤍

11-year-old intact male Labrador with rapidly growing nasal mass (surgery tomorrow, possible cancer)

Hi everyone… looking for some insight while we wait for surgery/biopsy results tomorrow.

My friend’s dog is an 11-year-old male yellow English Labrador Retriever, about 115 lbs, not neutered.

About 3–4 weeks ago, we noticed a small pimple-like bump inside one nostril. Over the past month, it has steadily grown and is now a large fleshy mass that is protruding from the nostril. It has started bleeding intermittently.

He was seen by a vet early on and was given antibiotics, pain medication, and another medication (unsure what). They initially suspected infection or inflammation, but the mass continued to grow despite treatment.

He was re-evaluated, and the vet is now concerned it may be cancerous. He is scheduled for surgery tomorrow morning to remove the mass and send it for biopsy.

I understand we won’t know for sure until pathology comes back, but I’m trying to prepare myself and would appreciate any insight on:

Could something like this still be benign or inflammatory despite the rapid growth?

Any conditions that can mimic this?
What outcomes are common with nasal masses in older dogs?

Thank you know this isn’t a substitute for a vet diagnosis, just trying to better understand what we might be dealing with while we wait.

Best creepy storytelling podcasts like Full Body Chills?

I’ve been listening to Full Body Chills on Spotify and I’m obsessed with the stories and format - standalone horror/thriller stories, creepy atmosphere, and good narration.

I’ve finished most of the episodes and need something similar to binge on my commutes. I’m looking for:

Anthology-style (different story each episode or arc)
Horror, psychological thriller, or unsettling vibes
Strong storytelling/narration (not super low-budget sounding)

I’m open to anything from super creepy to more suspense/psychological thriller, as long as it has that immersive, story-driven feel.

Any recommendations??

How do you find a “just a job” career that isn’t overwhelming but still pays the bills?

I’m kind of at a career crossroads and honestly don’t know what direction to go anymore, so I’m looking for some outside perspective or advice.

I’m in my 30s, I have a bachelor’s in social work, and I spent about 5 years working in that field. I eventually burned out and decided to pivot into the legal field for a change of pace. I’ve now been a family law paralegal for about 5 years. I started at the very bottom and worked my way up, so on paper it looks like I’ve built experience and progressed.

The issue is…I’m really unhappy in this role and at my current workplace. I’ve noticed a pattern where I tend to stay in jobs for around 5 years, do well, and then hit a point where I feel bored, drained, and ready for something completely different but I don’t actually know what that “something else” is.

Right now I’m starting to feel like my priorities are shifting. I care a lot more about having time and energy for my personal life than climbing a career ladder. I don’t necessarily need a “dream job” anymore, I just want something stable where I can make a decent living, not feel constantly overwhelmed, and still have a life outside of work.

If anyone has been in a similar place or has advice on careers that are more low-stress / balanced but still pay reasonably, I’d really appreciate hearing it.
