First ever Jellycat and she is so cute 🥰

Hello! Never been on this sub before but I just wanted to share my new plush. My family has always been on the poor side so I've never had the guts to ask for something from a generally more expensive brand.

But my mom and I have been having a tough time lately with problems I have at school, so she bought me something to cheer me up.

Any name suggestions? I'm terrible at naming my plushies but I always believe that naming them makes them more loveable.

Does anyone else feel a little bitter about the current endings of each character after D5?

To my understanding (someone correct me if I'm wrong tho), Bridget became evil just because of a prank in high school. Then she kidnapped Cinderella and caused this whole time loop mess. Then at the end, she's queen, has her best friend, has two daughters, and is loved. Obviously the characters besides Red and Chloe don't know that she's meant to be evil. But if she did all that just because of a prank that happened years ago, she can't be that morally good?

On the other hand, Maddox was originally good enough (at least not evil) but then Red stole his watch and ruined his life. Granted, he didn't have to become evil after he lost the watch, but I feel like that's more reasonable compared to Bridget's reason. Like imagine getting something as precious and dangerous as a time-changing watch stolen, then everyone calls you insane (including your own son) and banishes you to the Isle. But he's punished for it even though he's right about the pocket watch?

It just leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I don't need Bridget to be written as evil or Maddox getting no repercussions. But like Red should have at least told the truth at the end about the pocket watch. So at least people know that Maddox wasn't totally wrong nor insane. Red stole it, so she should hold at least a little bit of accountability.

But she didn't? We just have Maddox in a cage at the end while the rest dance?

Who do you personally think/see as the oldest?

There's a bit of a debate over whether or not Alvin or Simon was born first. Originally in the 80s show, Alvin was said to be the oldest and this was also confirmed by Ross Sr. But then in the 2015 show, it was mentioned that Simon was the oldest.

So who do you personally think is the oldest? For me, it's Alvin because I'd rather follow the original movie's lore. I also dislike the stereotype of the oldest always having to be the tallest and most responsible. It's the opposite for me and my sister.

Either way it doesn't really matter considering they're all triplets with very little age differences (practically none). And everyone's free to have their own interpretations and headcanons.

I dislike JJ stans just as much as I dislike Reid stans

*Keep in mind that "stan" is very different from "fan." Fan where you enjoy a character normally is fine. Stan is when you're obsessive and annoying about a character to the point of insulting others personally. So if you're a JJ fan or a Reid fan or an any character fan, you're totally fine and please know that this is not aimed at you.

I know that Criminal minds people are well familiar with how annoying Reid stans can be whenever they coddle him, excuse his mistakes, or hate on anyone who's against him. But can we also talk about how insane JJ stans can be?

Granted, it's to a lesser degree since JJ is generally not as popular as Reid, but it still annoys me whenever a JJ stan calls someone a misogynist just because they don't enjoy her character. Like it's okay to find her bland or say that she's not your cup of tea.

Imo, the people who say that non-JJ fans are misogynists are the ones that are more misogynist. They're literally treating JJ differently because she's a woman. Like you wouldn't see anyone calling someone who dislikes Hotch, Morgan or Reid a misandrist. Treat JJ like any other character please.

Of course, there are instances where people are 100% misogynist or unreasonable against JJ. But I've barely seen anyone who actually just hate her because she's a woman. Most of the criticism I see is because of how she's written as a character or how she acts.

These JJ stans also excuse her behavior a lot of times. I've seen people blame Will for being mad that JJ was keeping their relationship a secret or even making stuff up and blaming Reid for the whole stupid confession in "Truth or Dare."

This is the exact same behavior of Reid stans defending Reid's emotional mess in "Memoriam."

Yet barely anyone calls them out the same way they do for Reid stans!?

Anywho, sorry for the rant but I find it so frustrating when people hide behind the "misogynist" excuse for disliking JJ. It makes enjoying JJ's character much harder.

Actually you know what, I hate all stans of all types.

I know that I'm going to get comments of "I've hardly ever seen JJ stans" which good for you, but I and some others definitely have.

Cinderheart?

So I just found out that in the graphic novels, they changed the plot line of "Cinderpaw can never be a warrior again because of her injury" to "she chose the medicine cat path."

I do like this change and I can see why they changed it, but doesn't this cause problems in the future graphic novels? (if they even get that far tbf)

Cinderheart was born as the reborn Cinderpelt because Starclan believed that she deserved another chance at becoming warrior. But this storyline doesn't work anymore because being a medicine cat is what Cinder herself chose.

Cinderheart being the reincarnation of Cinderpelt isn't a too important plot point that flips the world or anything but it still gets explored through Jayfeather, Lionblaze, and to an extent, Leafpool's perspectives.

So are they going to just get rid of it or skip it then? I'm guessing that's the case.

Unpopular Opinions?

- Reid and Prentiss are both overrated characters but I feel like Prentiss is the more overrated out of these two. I say this as a fan of both. I feel like Reid has more fans but waaay more people bash him for his mistakes than people criticize Emily for hers. Like I see a lot of people saying that Reid is manipulative and terrible. When in reality he has his bad moments just like any other character and was emotional or rude for a scene because idk, he's a human?

- I don't really like the ship between JJ and Will. I don't hate/dislike either of their characters but I never really felt like JJ truly loved Will. Did she care about him? Yes. But I never felt real chemistry and honestly, Will honestly could've done better.

- It's unfair to compare Rossi and Gideon with each other. They're both different characters with their own traits. Yet for some reason people keep comparing them.

- Penelope and JJ's friendship is underrated. I love how Garcia is her kid's godmother. But I feel like we barely got any good scenes with these two.

- Hating or criticizing a female character is not misogyny and this is more specific to when people criticize JJ and Penelope. Most of the criticism I see of these two are the fact that JJ can be seen as bland or too perfect and that Penelope can be too much. Yet sometimes I see people replying that they're misogynist when that's probably not the case. It only becomes misogyny when someone hates a character for being a woman or holding her to unrealistic standards that they wouldn't hold to men.

- Prentiss is one of the best fighters in the team. I see more people nominating Morgan and JJ. They're totally right, but what about my girl Emily?

That's it. I feel like I've pissed off enough people today lol. Keep in mind that these are my opinions over fictional characters and everyone's opinion is valid :)

Edit: Lol, seems like I've succeeded in the unpopular opinions part

Just got to the arc when Emily, the Queen, returned. Have some thoughts tho.

Finally! Emily is one of my favorite characters. The team felt incomplete without her.

I also enjoyed the whole Ian Doyle arc. Only thing I'm hesitant on is how the son reached towards Doyle when he was dying. Like I get that he's his dad, but he's still a murderer. If it were me, I would back far away.

I know that this is probably a very controversial debate, but I gotta give my own opinion on the Reid, JJ, and Emily situation.

Don't read if you don't like, especially if you're a JJ fan.

I understand why Hotch and JJ made that decision to save Emily's life, but gosh the way JJ handled it disgusted me. The condescending comment about Reid being upset that he couldn't profile them instead of the fact that his very close friend freaking died. Like are you for real JJ? It's extremely shallow and rude of her to assume that Reid's anger came from his pride rather than his grief. And this is supposed to be his best friend?!

I get that she was frustrated about Reid's attitude and rightfully so to some extent, but it still pisses me off.

JJ has other mean girl moments that also low-key piss me off. Like that "I was nice to guys like you" comment to Spencer. Like bitch why are you insinuating that you should be praised for doing the bare minimum of treating "someone like Reid" decently?

This is why I sometimes hate her. I get that she is a good mother and has a lot of other good moments, but I really can't stand her sometimes.

I also don't like Emily's comment about her losing 6 friends while Reid only lost one. Like there's a difference girl T-T. He thought you were dead. You knew they were alive. I love Emily, but that comment ain't it.

To Reid, I love you and you're rightfully mad, but keep it off the field love. T-T

As much as this situation frustrated me, I still like that it was included. It really shows how complicated people are and how they all have their faults.

Either way, I'm glad that this drama didn't drag out too long and I'm more happy that I get more Emily screen time.

To anyone patient enough to actually get through my yapping, thank you.

Edit: Lol, someone just dm'd me and called me a misogynist. Ah yes, just criticizing a fictional woman makes me hate women in real life. I am a woman and I just have strong opinions :)

When I started to watch CM, I though I'd get nightmares from this show

TV shows like CM were never appealing to me. I love mystery but hate blood and gore. But then I saw a few clips from my friends and decided to try it out and just deal with the nightmares.

Oh I had nightmares alright. I had nightmares about bad grades and bad SAT scores. No nightmares about the show. I am so glad I gave it a chance.

I know that the live action movies have a lot of problems but I still love them and the chipmunks are adorable in them!

Maybe it's just the animal lover in me, but my favorite designs are definitely from the CGI movie. Like they actually look like chipmunks (with clothes). They sometimes act like chipmunks by running on all fours, climbing, and (in the early movies) scratching themselves.

Their faces are also absolutely adorable.
