Canada- using death certs

Has anyone had success using US issued death certificates showing someone was born in Canada? I am finding several relatives who were born prior to the issuance of birth certificates but they died while death certificates were issued. And yes, I have letters indicating no birth certificates exist.

Recommendation for obtaining a birth certificate

It’s for a NY born parent whom hasn’t had contact with his child (my husband) in decades. State or NY won’t allow just anyone to get a copy. It’s the missing link between grandma and husband.

I have 16 yo identical twins. Twin B was dx with WPW age 5. B also showed some left sided thickening this fall. Twin D has never been dx with WPW but his EKGs do show a shortened PR interval. Here’s the kicker. They both share a SNP on the PRKAG2 gene so I’m wondering if I need to press their heart health further to a cardiologist. WWYRecommend?
