Watching the World Cup match with some friends downtown, going to head down early and have some time to kill. Any good recommendations for early morning coffee/reading? I usually go to house 11 but sometimes it’s a bit too loud.

Currently in the Pelham area, but am looking for different groups or clubs to join? Went to Hoover originally and just moved back to the area. I’m 30 years old and am just looking for some after work/weekend activities to meet some new friends. Looking for book clubs, chess/boardgames, vinyl collectors, writing, outdoors activities. Open to anything really, just want something my wife and I can join and meet some new people.

We go into Birmingham often, so we’re open to anywhere between Calera-Birmingham.
