Baby Shower Games/Activities [ab]
Hello 😄 Sorry if this isn't the correct sub for this - I'm having my baby shower in 2 weeks and I have a few "activities/interactive things" that aren't necessarily games. The two games I'm having aren't also very interactive so I'm wondering if that's okay?
The games will be:
- Guess how many candies in the jar
- Guess how big mom's belly is (use a string to guess)
The "activities" will be:
- Perfume station (guests select from one of two scents and fill their own bottles)
- Coffee cart bar
- DIY bouquet station
I'm debating adding another more "interactive" game like a baby changing race or something but I also feel like there will be a lot going on? I (unwillingly, in laws :') ) am having about 35 people when I originally wanted under 20 so I was hoping it'd be over by 6pm - it starts at 1. I'm also having live music come while I cut the cake at 5 pm (hubby will be joining in for this - all female shower otherwise)
ALSO - what should the prizes of the games be? I'd like to keep them around or under $100
Thank you so much for any advice!!
EDIT: I will NOT be opening gifts I find that very tacky! Because of our cultural background unfortunately its going to a be a bit of a longer shower I am hoping after the cake cutting everything will go home and also banking on a lot of guests showing up at 130-145. Believe me I am not trying to keep everyone hostage all day - i am tiiiirreeedddd.
