Hello everyone,

I’ve had a Canon EOS R7 for about 2 years now, which I mainly use for photography.
Since I don’t take photos that often, I wanted to use my Canon R7 as a camera on a tripod for streaming, mainly to film my racing setup.

Unfortunately, after purchasing all the equipment needed to use it (capture card, HDMI to Micro HDMI Type D cable, etc.), I’m unable to get any HDMI signal, even when connecting the camera directly to a TV.

I’ve bought 4 different cables to test everything, but none of them work.
I’ve also checked the different settings on the R7 and even performed a full reset to test it, but nothing has worked.

I’m therefore starting to think that the HDMI port on my camera might be defective, especially since the camera is unfortunately no longer under warranty.
So my question is: have any other R7 owners experienced the same issue?

Maybe there’s simply a setting or a step I’ve missed.
