It’s been 5 years and I/they still don’t know what’s going on with me

I’m 25F and from the Philippines and it’s been tiring going to doctors and hospitals and coming back with them saying “everything is normal.”

For context I started having symptoms in 2021, specifically a Right Upper Quadrant pain along with multiple GI issues. Until now 5 years later I still experience this everyday, mainly after I eat and sometimes randomly. Went to a gastroenterologist in 2021 and got an ultrasound with normal clear results. Went home and took pain meds and a Proton Pump Inhibitor med.

Returned again in 2023 because of more pain and doctor suspected of gallstones and requested an MRI (which is very expensive where i live btw) and got a very normal clear result of my whole abdomen. Went home and took pain meds again. Since then I haven’t gone back to a gastro, but just this year for months already, I noticed that my stool became yellowish. This was new and my stool was a normal brown even years ago that’s why doctors ruled out my case because they said everything was normal.

In 2023, I experienced major allergy issues that I can’t do everyday tasks properly anymore. Went to the doctor becuase I got severe sinusitis and was on meds and steroid sprays for months. Although that’s resolved now, it still returns from time to time.

In 2024, I experienced mental health issues and visited a psychiatrist and she diagnosed me with anxiety and PTSD from my childhood trauma. I was on Vortioxetine medication for about a year. It helped calm me and fix my sleep not until:

In 2025, I got hospitalized for vertigo and severe headache and ear pain. The psychiatrist told me to stop my medication and she referred me to a neurologist. I got a CT scan of my brain, blood, urine, and stool tests and everything was normal. Along with an ENT doctor, they diagnosed me with Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo and Vertebrobasilar Migraine. And although they said medications can cure it, I still experience symptoms now triggered by stress, lack of sleep, and heat. Right now even with no triggers, tinnitus and vertigo are the ones that bothers me the most. The tinnitus gets louder each day and I lose balance and fall sometimes. My medications were mostly Betahistine, migraine and pain relievers.

Now in 2026, I’m experiencing new kind of symptoms: fatigue, body aches, and joint pains. Just last month I went to the hospital because my ankles swelled like crazy, my skin was reddish and painful, and I couldn’t even walk. Did some blood and urine tests, and as expected, everything came back normal again. Put me on pain relievers and went home. But until now I still feel pain on my knees, ankle, hands, elbows, shoulders and back.

Another symptom emerging with the body pain are my nails: splinter hemorrhages on some nails and i noticed my cuticles slightly receding and nails a bit clubbing.

Honestly I don’t know anymore. I don’t want to go back to the doctors getting another “everything is normal” anymore. Nothing is normal with this. Everyday I’m in constant pain. I’m hoping anyone could answer here or have any slight idea what’s wrong with me. This is exhausting 😔
