Has anyone ended up with Diverticulitis from CGRPs?

Just been diagnosed with a mild acute diverticulitis at hospital and I’m wondering if it could have anything to do with CGRP meds?
I was on Ajovy for 8 months and then had one round of Vyepti (horrible 😭) and now only about 10 days into Ajovy again.
I’m wondering if there could be a link? Either that or steroids, which I’ve had 3 rounds of in 4 months.

Wait- has Loena retired?

Sorry I might be behind the 8 ball here, but has Loena Hendrikx retired?
I saw she isn’t on Gp assignments and when I asked Google it said she’s holding a press conference tomorrow to officially announce?

Has anyone successfully switched back to a previously tolerated CGRP after failing another?

I was on Ajovy for 9 months (as well as Pizofiten) and it definitely helped with my vestibular migraine dizziness, but after stopping Pizofiten earlier in the year it wasn’t really holding down the fort so we switched to Vyepti.
Well from my previous posts you can see that has been disastrous and caused a catastrophic flare up that’s lasted for over 8 weeks.
My neurologist has said I can switch back to Ajovy early, as it was previously tolerated.
Has anybody successfully switched back to an old CGRP and found it helpful. I wasn’t 100% before but it isn’t anything like this. I’ve been housebound for weeks, can’t work, can’t watch TV, have no life at all at the moment. Pinning my hopes on Ajovy working for me again at least partially

Vyepti bad reactions

Hi Everybody,

I had my first Vyepti dose almost 7 weeks ago and have been severely unwell for almost 6 weeks now.

It seems to have had the opposite effect on me and caused everything to become overly sensitive. My neurologist thought it just hadn’t kicked in yet and sent me to the hospital for stations migrainous treatment but after 3 hospital visits it hasn’t gone away.

I got a crushing pain in my temples 6 weeks ago and have severe sensitivity to visual and auditory input.

I’ve been housebound and unable to work for weeks.

Has this happened to anybody else? I’m hoping it should subside as the drug wears off but this is getting. ridculous . I bit down on a cracker yesterday and it sent a sharp nerve like pain up through face that took hours to settle down.

I just feel so helpless. I regret getting Vyepti. Want to move back to Ajovy
