I fear I’ve made the rookie mistake of having my heart set on a date, but have been waiting to tell people until we have a venue secured.
A friend (not a close friend) of my fiances has just announced their wedding will be three days before that date - their wedding is Thursday and ours was going to be that weeks Saturday.
Obviously we can’t have that Saturday now, despite the significance of the date to us (the date we got engaged). They may not be a close friend but they share a very important friendship group with my finance. So my question is how big of a gap do you leave between weddings, is the following Saturday okay? Would you go to two weddings only 9 days apart?
The reason I’m so sad is because to move that date two weeks prior or later puts it on close family birthdays, and to move it any further takes it out of my dream month and the date of significance. I’m also really trying to keep it on a Saturday to reduce the need to use annual leave for people, and because 6 key people we know are tied to school schedules (can’t do week days)
Are these all warty Dorris sea slugs, and is that one with the string looking thing dying or laying eggs?
