Before the price hikes I decided to get an m5 air 24gb ram 15 inch model cause it was under my budget but now it's prices are hikes and I am confused that if I should go for windows laptop or just buy that macbook or are there any other options cause I am gonna go to a college next year and wanted learn some skills, edit some videos as a free lancer try some games and do some game development and stuff I also want to know which specs do I buy and which brand, I need reliability, durability and don't wanna spend a lot maybe 2400$ is max and also want a thin and light good looking laptop. Do i go for any windows laptop like asus zephyrus g14 ?

I am a pcmb student and scored 88.2% in cbse boards and gave jee without any prep, i got 76 percentile and also gave neet and am getting around 400 marks both without any prep, I am taking a drop and wanna focus on one main career and am unable to decide, i don't know which one seems more interesting to me, i don't have much knowledge about the future and lifestyle of each, i am literally confused, and don't wanna regret after years pls give me any advices and if there are other options do let me know I want something experienced guy to guide me 🙏🏻

I am literally confused what to choose ,they cost me almost the same price, just finished school and gonna start college, thinking to use it for my college life and exploring things , used to edit in a potato pc a year ago( frustrating as hell) , never had a great pc , I am just confused that 24gb ram would be enough and future proof for atleast 3-4 years, but also with the m5 pro , 2x memory bandwidth, faster ssd , more cores , better gaming. The only issue is the 24gb ram, literally confused as hell. Please somebody give me an advice on what to do
