It's weird that someone who mains the Elite SC doesn't like the Mete SF at all, and now has a spare frame lying around lol. Sooooo...if anyone in East TN needs a SF frame, I know a guy lol

Having 3 days off every week is a curse and a blessing.

Got the green SE for the Elite SC. I will take that or a Cat X Pro over a 507k any day of the week. Also finally got a TF backstrap on her. Perfect fit with the Canik +3 pads on the 12 round mag, but did have to shave down the back of the extended grip 15 round MC9 mag (pictured). Also got a new trigger for the SF.

The slide obviously won't lock but everything else operates as though it was made this way 😂

I mainly wanted to get rid of that weird little bump in there, but I also rounded out the right side edge. It has made quite a difference. I used a 280 to shape it and then went straight to 1000, and it's smooth as glass. One thing I can say, this is definitely higher quality polymer than Glock. No melting and the material was much more forgiving. I probably spent 10-15 minutes on it overall. The cerakote is a couple shades off from the actual polymer, but that doesn't bug me at all. I know a few of my fellow bear-handers on here mentioned considering an undercut. Do it!

I sincerely wish I had picked up one of these when I had the 50+ chances to do so over the years. I recently saw an all tungsten Elite SC with this barrel, matching TF mag extension, black TF backstrap, and black flat trigger and instantly regretted thinking it wouldn't look good on mine lol. They're extremely hard to find, if at all. And Canik just told me that any parts/accessories not currently on CanikUSA are no longer being produced or shipped to vendors/suppliers. Noooooo!!

Let me get this straight because I'm late to the party. For $700-$750, you're NOT getting a magwell, night sights, or the aluminum trigger that you get with the Prime for $599? I get the whole niche consumer thing and the purple one is kinda cool, but...what a letdown.

It's getting hot out there which means no more hoodies, which means the EDC rotation is back to compacts and SC's. As large as my hands are, I actually prefer this size (zing!). I also thoroughly enjoy the added weight and feel of metal baseplates/magwells. However, they are slippery as hell. I got a wild hair up my ass the other day to do draw drills with these pistols and my pinky would slide right off every time. This is why you practice, folks, because in an actual self defense situation I would have been fumbling my grip while Anon steals my lunch. My first idea was these adhesive traction strips at Lowe's, but they're 60 grit and I Goon Tape my Prime solely because the grip tears up my fragile virgin tummy. Then I found this rubbery textured tape on Amazon. $12 for 10 feet. No regrets. If anyone's interested, I'll report back in a while on how it holds up. It'll be in the 90s this week over here. So far, the stuff is ON there and isn't moving around or going anywhere. It also has just the tiniest bit of cushion, which is nice. Here's the link

Also, if you're wondering why I applied it on top of the goon tape - 1, I'm a sweaty boy. 2, I'm not sure what kind of residue this stuff will leave behind, if any.

Has anyone out there considered giving their Elite SC the ol' Glock treatment? I've really been wanting to shave down this bump, round out that edge, and deepen that curve where the guard goes into the grip. I love this thing but, with the size of my damn hands, I'll have arthritis in my favorite finger if I keep shooting it.

I was having a hard time finding a holster that I liked for my Elite SC with a TLR7x or Olight PLX. Very frustrating. Then I had an idea...Take the Sub off my Prime and see if the Elite SC fits in my Blacksmith Tactical MC9 Prime holster. And it does! Perfectly! I'm so happy because I'm sooooo in love with this gun and how I have it set up. I love my Prime, but I think my Elite SC feels and shoots so much better. And I like this trigger shoe a lot more. I'm weird.
