Need help with form 4547 application - IRS won't pick up

I was on hold with the IRS' 800-829-1040 phone number for 1 hr and 48 minutes before they quickly told me they have to transfer me to accounts mgmt (800-829-0922). Upon doing so, the call promptly ended saying that the IRS couldn't complete the transfer.

I then call the 800-829-0922 number directly and the automated system informed me they aren't currently accepting calls.

A week or so ago I was on hold for 1.5 hrs the first time, and 1 hr the second without answer.

My question is, I have submitted the app 9 times for my child's form 4547 (trump account) and the IRS says its "unable to process" due to missing/illegible information. 7 times online, 2 by mail. I have even called the SSA to ensure my child's information is correct. I have triple checked everything I input. Clearly it isn't me. Has anyone ran into the same issue, if so did you find a resolution?

More context: I filed my taxed prior to May of 2026, but my child was born in May 2026.

Attached is a photo of today's phone wait time before getting absolutely no help.

Shark vertebra or camel bone?

Hello guys!

So I was a contractor for the state department years ago and was working in Somalia off the eastern coast of Africa for a little while and was able to go to the shore one day and found pocket of sand and made it my little "beach". I found this washed up fossil (or weathered bone) and always wondered what it was. Well a geology class Im taking gave me the motivation to look it up and learn about it. According to the internet, it is likely a shark vertebra, more specifically a centrum, from an 11-14' predator from the order Carcharhiniformes or Lamniformes but I am skeptical because it is rectangular shaped not round.

Can anyone help me figure out what species it is from?

Active duty transfers to Tarleton don't pay app fee

This is to help all future transfer students that are transferring from TCC to Tarleton state university.

If you are active duty, you do not need to pay the $50 application fee!!!

I wasn't aware of who is eligible for the app fee waiver because I generally don't ever qualify for discounts or waivers, especially not financial aid, so I didn't bother to check. However, after clicking submit payment I looked over the waiver form requirements and it turns out I did in fact qualify. 😂

Good luck to everyone in their academia journey!

Emergency Mgmt Specialist and Exercise Course (EMSEC)

Seems like an interesting course to take up at Yorktown! I would assume DC's are the primary rate for this course but what other rates do you think went, or can go to this course?

Just looking to learn so all help is appreciated!

Balance transfer help

Need help with CC balance transfer. Im looking for one that has a 0% transfer fee with a 0% APR for any amount of time (i.e. 6mo, 12mo, etc). If you guys know of one please let me know. I have been scouring online for an hour or so now and have had no luck.

The CC in question is at Navy Federal, and my understanding is that I cannot transfer to another NFCU CC to do a balance transfer.

TIA!

Update: I found Fairwinds CU offers a platinum cash back CC that works for my needs above. Has anyone used them or this card?
