I am a Turkish business owner and want to travel to Libya to meet customers. I will stay at Attawfeek Hotel for a week in September. I will rent a car for a week and go around to visit customers in the city of Tripoli.

Is this an ok thing to do? Are there any safety problems in doing all this that I described?

I know the city in particular is very safe and a growing city. Lots of good hotels, etc., but I just wanna get your opinion because some people and work colleagues don't find it very safe.

I am a marble exporter. I export to many countries including Canada. I have been visiting many companies who buy and sell marble but not a lot of them are importers. The market is also slow but thete are still room for marble and building supplies.

I feel like I couldn't find the right audience who actually mass imports in large scale.

Help me out here!

Benim bir görüşüm yok kesinlikle obcektif sizlerin gorüşlerini diblemek istiyorum. Kendi isimi yaparken zaten onlarca insanla konustum hem turk hem yabanci. Bazi gorusmeler iyiydi bazilari berbat. Günün sonunda, önemli olan kendini geliştirmek her zaman diye düşünüyorum...

For people experienced with industrial real estate or construction materials:

• Which Canadian cities are best for this type of business?
• What warehouse features are essential for safely storing marble slabs?
• What industrial zones or areas should I look into?
• Any warehouse in Ontario with these prices is welcome for consideration!

Would appreciate any advice from people in stone, tile, logistics, or warehouse operations and of course, please share any warehouses for sale if you know it.

I have been seeing a lot of businesses closing due to high rental prices. As I have lived in Canada Toronto area for more than 6 years, these ate the worst times to do small business in Canada. Inflation is high, houses are expensive, warehouses and offices are ecpensive. That's why warehouse businesses with flexible usage dates are on demand or at least from what I see. I was looking for a house to buy in Toronto and all of them were a minimum 500K to start with but I found one in Ottawa for just 400k. Real estate agent told me the owner is giving it witj a discount and the businesses are not doing any sales right now so he might let it go for 300K!! I gave my offer already but thid made me think, are there any warehouses with a size of 800-1000m2 that owner could be giving away for 100-300K in Toronto/Hamilton/Burlington/Missisauga/Milton/Brampton and similar areas. You know the best warehouse would be in montreal cuz of the distance advantage to the port but any warehouse in these areas with a shocking offer would be in my interest!!

I think it might be a good oppurtunity to look for these type of assets because businesses are closing and we might just find one on sale.

I mostly want it so I don have to keep paying rent for the current warehouse I store my marble products. And if I don't like state of market after, I can rent it to someone else. Rent prices are good and keep increasing anyways.
