Almost a repeat of the last delivery except this time he makes the effort to peak around. Luckily, I’m waiting at my screen door because I happened to see him rock up. I’ve got no shoes on, baby it’s cold outside, I’m definitely thinking I’m home and I’m just waiting for him to come to the door, he won’t need to press the button even because hey I’m there!

I honestly don’t think he had any intention of ringing the door bell either but given I was there already, I don’t think there’s any way of knowing unless we asked him himself.

He did ask me, if I can come around the corner next time, aware of the dangerous precedent that sets, I explained in detail that I unfortunately won’t be able to but asked him nicely if he can come to my door. He indicated yes…. But time will tell. I’ve forwarded the footage again to the existing complaint handler I only finished speaking with last week. For some reason I can’t add the second video so I’ll add it in as a comment

Saw this was done elsewhere but with the interface still on. I tried it and I couldn’t get the right sweet spot while the interface was still connected… it’s SO uncomfortable it’s like wearing swimming goggles that just never feel right. With the interface off, although I can see around me a little bit (actually helps for drinking and snacking) it is so much more comfortable, I get MUCH better FOV because I can have the lenses almost right up to my eyes and lastly I can get the lenses in the right angle for my white goy face to be in the sweet spot.

Edit: after a few long sessions I’ve found it’s annoying to get back in the perfect spot after taking it off and on again, it’s better than the standard gasket once you get it right, but for slipping on and off when you want to look at the monitor or drop the kids off at the pool, I think once I find a better interface I’ll go with it. Still… very cool way of using this and it’s neat that they’ve created it in this way.

One thing that was frustrating was the length of the Pimax arm stems interfered with me being able to get a good angle for my pea size white goy head

StarTrack express tried to deliver me a package. I was waiting at the door for him to finish in his van and come to give me a package. Didn’t realise he was on the other side of his car hiding for 30 seconds before coming to the conclusion I must not be home. Before he was down my driveway, I got the notification on my phone that the delivery was attempted and no one was home. This surprised me because it felt like I was home so I began to walk outside while the driver was as leaving, at this point, the driver realised someone IS home, and drives back up to do his job. I dunno if I’m required to blur the guy out so I did anyway
