From the time the posties pushed on our Ring bell to the time he left is a total 20 seconds. I heard the ring, immediately put on my pants and rushed to the door, but it's too late, I guess I'd need to be the Flash to beat his timer.

EDIT: Everyone seems to think this is standard practice and I am the one at fault. Fine, I will just need to lower my expectations for the AusPost delivery service from now on. Well, lesson learned, at least I voiced my opinion that we're paying top dollars in Australia but the quality of service is very subpar compared to other countries.

Have been stuck on this since 22nd June - anyone else the same? What’s the oldest? Lol

some context: im living in the US and ordered some clothes from a small business, its been saying this for a month now. i reached out to the owners and

they said "Unfortunately, we have encountered major issues with our US orders due to the constant changing customs laws relating to tarrifs, however, we are continuing to figure out a solution for you at this very moment."

i just ordered some clothings so idk much about the tariffs and stuff but wondering if others have shipped out/received successfully from auspost?

Any AP staff who can advise? I tried calling AP about this but kept getting AI assistant directing me back to tracking app. I’ve attached 2 photos of the same item. The first photo is the view of the item in the tracking list showing “Granville NSW Thu 25 Jun 11.28am”. But when I tap on it, it shows latest update as the day before “24 Jun 12.56pm” Awaiting clearance. Is this a normal thing? Or is it bugged?

Anyone else find this weird? An Australian post office selling novelty pens of the American president at first seemed odd and now just seems sort of sad.
I’m not a fan of Trump but I would find it odd to see novelty pens of any president/politician in an Aus Post store. I’d prefer my weekly visit to buy parcels to be apolitical tbh.

Are there issues with express post lately? I send multiple express packages a week and usually send them on Monday. The majority of them take a week to be delivered. Often stuck for days once reaching the recipient's state. It seems like it's not even worth paying the extra for express when they take as long as regular post. I have multiple still not delivered that I posted on Monday.

Almost a repeat of the last delivery except this time he makes the effort to peak around. Luckily, I’m waiting at my screen door because I happened to see him rock up. I’ve got no shoes on, baby it’s cold outside, I’m definitely thinking I’m home and I’m just waiting for him to come to the door, he won’t need to press the button even because hey I’m there!

I honestly don’t think he had any intention of ringing the door bell either but given I was there already, I don’t think there’s any way of knowing unless we asked him himself.

He did ask me, if I can come around the corner next time, aware of the dangerous precedent that sets, I explained in detail that I unfortunately won’t be able to but asked him nicely if he can come to my door. He indicated yes…. But time will tell. I’ve forwarded the footage again to the existing complaint handler I only finished speaking with last week. For some reason I can’t add the second video so I’ll add it in as a comment

Why in gods name has my parcel gone to melbourne after it landed in Perth? I live in country WA btw...

It seems odd that a website would have better tracking than auspost app, is this normal?

My package has been received by auspost last Thursday delivering to Perth and I’ve yet to receive an update since, it’s been a week and the estimated arrival should be between later today - tomorrow.
Is this just an issue where updates haven’t been sent, but is being delivered or will my package be delayed?
