I'm on holiday in South America and would like to send some stuff back to my family and friends, I tried looking for official info but didn't have much luck so here I am. My main concern is some chocolates and a couple of things I got with a bit of leather or wood in them. I'm not trying to send any seeds or unprocessed animal products but I know we've got strict import laws so I'm hoping someone can tell me about the process or at least the do's and don'ts

this is literally the 7th time that i had an 'attempted delivery' and no one even knocked now i have to go and collect it.

it's really frustrating.

i understand everyone else is having the same problem.

at this point if i see these drivers around i'm going to have a word with them.

i don't recommend you do the same but i don't blame you if you do 'wink wink'

Anyone else having problems logging in to Australia Post at the moment? I can't log in either with the app or on the desktop. It tells me that the password is not recognised. I have the tried the link to reset the password, but AP is not sending the link to my email to reset it.

I'm looking to mail a pen (that's under 20mm thick and weighs under 500g) in a tracked letter to save on postage. The 'Medium C5 envelope Up to 500g' letter for $8.10 seems to fit the bill but I'd prefer to send it in a small bubble mailer.

Can I pay the $8.10 rate but send it in a bubble mailer instead? Would the bubble mailer itself be an added cost?

I just ordered from aliexpress and set the address as a parcel locker, and was wondering is it likely that it will actually go through and be delivered by Auspost? Has anyone tried it yet 😭 I saw that it was possible in the past but am unsure since the new parcel locker addresses came out. Thank you!!

I'm trying to send something to my partner and also trying not to go broke. It looks like I could send it via auspost for like $60, but I'm not super certain as I've never done this before. Any help is appreciated.

Recently, I have bought several items off of Vinted (from overseas), copied the tracking number into Auspost and it says pending even when I know for a fact that the parcel has entered the Auspost system because it literally arrived to my house.

In addition to this, Auspost has added unidentified parcels itself labeled ‘From Vinted’ and those parcels have shipping progress information and do not say ‘pending’. No matter how many times I delete the registered codes from Vinted and re-add the tracking codes of the items, it still says ‘pending’ when, due to parcels literally arriving and also other packages being automatically registered (that are clearly the ones I ordered) I am certain they are in the Auspost system.

Also, the items that have already arrived (despite the post app still saying pending) don’t register as delivered in the actual Vinted app.

What is going on?
