Tunisia’s disastrous World Cup campaign has been hit by another twist. Eight players have tested positive in doping tests for clenbuterol, including several based in the UK.
However, investigators believe the results were caused by contaminated meat consumed during the squad's stay in Mexico rather than intentional use of the banned substance.
No further action is currently expected against the players, although their clubs have been informed.
