I'll cancel my Scotia card
Only reason I got it was because I could get a few bucks in cash back with my rent, they should feel it too. Rest of my recurring payments will not get me cash back to pay the annual fee.

Hey everyone, running into an issue on a job site with our Topcon PS robot and MAGNET Field data collector.
When measuring along a North-South line, everything works fine and measurements are solid. However, whenever we measure along the West-East line, the station locks onto the prism, takes the initial lock measurement, and then only tracks in 10 mm jumps. Like if it locks at -0.003 and if you move the prism, it won't measure again until y get to +0.007 and then goes to +0.017 or goes back to -0.013 ect.
Has anyone experienced this specific directional jump with the PS series or MAGNET Field?
Is this cheese gone? Used to be a must in my shopping but haven’t seen it in the last month
Looking for some advice on my current situation. My closed Work Permit (WP) expired this past March. I have a PR application in progress, but it’s been stuck in background checks since January 2025, and I don't expect a resolution soon.
Because I like my current company, we applied for another closed WP instead a BOWP before my previous one expired to “secure” another 3 years instead of one, I am currently on maintained status.
Long story short, the company is now on sale, so my job security is suddenly looking shaky.
I recently heard that you cannot claim EI on a closed work permit, which has me worried, what are my options here?
Is it possible to "switch" or pivot my current pending application to a BOWP instead?
If I'm laid off while on maintained status for a closed WP, what are my immediate options to stay and work? Will I be eligible for EI?
