The 20's will be as talked about in 20 years like the 2000s are now.

We all know 2000's nostalgia is huge right now among people under age 30. I am also not saying the 2000s are like the 20s, because they are not the same decade.

However, as bad as you may think the decade is (and yes even in the 2000s people complained, and people complained in the 2010s as well when we were in them), you can't deny that were living through unprecedented times. I believe this will mean something to all of us alive now that younger generations who weren't around for it just won't believe or understand.

We are arguably in the best decade of the 21st century so far.

So many bad things happened by 2006, and by so many bad things had happened in the 0210s by 2016. You might have been too young to know it at the time.

Aside from COVID and inflation the decade has had far less issues than the 2000s and 2010s did.

The 20's have been the best decade since the 1980s and 1990s. Again, the 2020's are not the same decade, but the 2020's are the best since then.

I know you are not going to agree with me yet, but someday 20 year from now or later you will understand.

What Was The Year Facebook Because Associated With Old People?

I am thinking 2012-2016 was when the fall off began with younger people and by 2016 it was mostly posts about photos of food and politics. I left it once that happened. It was 2010 everyone had it or was told to get it, then by 2019 you were laughed at if you even mentioned it.

I agree the platform is not needed anymore, especially with smartphones and group texts now....but many seniors still use it, because it is easier for them. From what I was told it is still where it was 10 years ago...photos of food and politics, maybe less photos of food, but certainly lots of politics and arguing.

But that is here in California....did it happen in your state or country around the same time or later/earlier?

Edit; The title is supposed to say "What Was The Year Facebook Became Associated With Old People?" however I can't seem to find a way to it the title text.

Live in Apartment Complex, But Want to Transfer to Another Apartment in Same Complex.

I am living in an apartment and have been in the complex for many years. I asked the community manager if I could transfer to another apartment (yes the rent would be higher in a new apartment). However when I asked the community manager they seemed like they were a bit confused and said transfers would have to be approved by management.

They said management makes that decision to see if it is a good fit for the community.

For context, the management changed once during my time here so far and the complex has about 200-300 units.

I was confused, because I already live in the community, they already know how I am as a tenant...but I simply just accepted what they said.

Is that normal in apartment complexes? My old community manager used to be fine with transfers.

US States With Mostly Males (Blue) and Mostly Females (Pink) According to the Recent US Census. Just Because there is a surplus of men or women in those states, does not mean they are any good though.

Why Are They Getting 2000s Nostalgia Wrong?

99% of it is not accurate and it is basically cherry picked stuff from the mid 1990s and first 19 months of the 2000s and calling that 2000's stuff.

It is also not nearly as upbeat of flashy in pop culture like the actual 2000s were.

Why are they not doing a good job with making 2000s nostalgia more like the accurate 2000s?

Why October 2008- Fall Season 2015 years Defines 2010s Music More Than 2016-2019?

That is the music people associate more with the 2010s. Is this what 2010s nostalgia will be in the 2030s?

What made that last longer and have more of an impact compared to January 2016-2019?

Where to Get 3 foot or 6 foot Sub Sandwiches in San Diego?

Hello everyone,

I was wondering what businesses offer giant submarine Italian sandwiches? I used to be able to order the 3 foot of 6 foot Italian grinders from Subway in TX, but I was told that SD does not make those...

Are there any sandwich shops that do make the giant 24+ inch Italian subs?

Thanks in advance.

Adults Map Out Generations and How They Behave.

In the 20's decade GenZ only likes things from the 1980s (3rd wave nostalgia) and 2000s (2nd wave nostalgia). Then copying what was done and pretended they invented it. Very simple, and it is actually adults that programed them to be this way. Just look at any teenager today and how their hairdo is or their clothing and you will understand how we molded them.

The 2030s will be about 2010 revivals as well, the adults already have it mapped out for them...but we make it look like it was GenZ that is doing it.

In the 2030s we will have them be nostalgic for 1990s (3rd wave nostalgia) and 2010s (2nd wave nostalgia).

In the 2040s we programmed Generation Alpha to like the 2000s (3rd wave) and the 2020s (2nd wave nostalgia).

And yes they will act like THEY invented it.

They all look alike yet are trying to look different, but looking alike at the same time. Some parts of America they STILL dressed this way. What happened to variety like in the early 2010s???????????

Anyone Notice The 2000s and 2010s Blended Together, But the 2020's Seem So Different?

I noticed in the 2000s it seems so different from the 1990s, but the 2010s and the 2000s were more similar, but I feel like the 2020s are very different and don't blend with the 2010s at all.

Would this be called a progressive decade then like the 2000s were?

The 1960s and 1980s were also very progressive decades.

So much has changed by 2025 compared to the start of the decade.

We are only half way there now, but so much has changed in that time.

Anyone Notice 2010s Seemed Outdated Quicker in This Decade, Than the 20000s Looked in the 2010s?

I mean the 2000s looked a bit outdated in the 2010s, but it was not something that happened as quickly as the 2010s looked outdated in the 20's.

Aside from the obvious starting yesterday, the 20's are a very different time compared to the 2010s.
